Kolarov has been poor pretty much all season I agree.

However, Dzeko is the sort of player who needs deliveries into the box. We play the ball to him and around him like he's Tevez and that's just not going to work. I don't understand some of the vitriol spouted about Dzeko on this board when we NEVER cross the ball. If we aren't going to cross the ball to Dzeko then the club shouldn't have bought him in the first place.

I reckon Vilas Boas could be worth a punt if we sack Mancini...after all didn't Mourinho follow a similar route, off from Porto to an ambitious English club after winning league and an European Cup? It was the champions league and not the europa league where porto are this season but still, if they win it the similarity would be there imho.

Really?
Please do elaborate.

Either way, he's a cunt with a good record for man management, producing attractive winning football ....... and he's available.

Search for him and Rudi Voeller on youtube and ask yourself if you want a "man" like that running your football team. I don't. Even if you could guarantee success (which you can't), some things are more important than winning.

Who else has he managed and to what degree of success and entertainment? Well, a quick shufty round the the internet informs me that that he took Sparta Rotterdam down, which under Swales would have made him over-qualified for us. Times have changed however. He did also manage a Turkish cup quarter-final with Galatasaray. Hmmm. "Winning football"?

to be fair, his results this season have been far from boring

http://www.statto.com/football/teams/re ... 11/results

Inter during 2009/10 season

http://www.statto.com/football/teams/in ... 10/results

Inter during 2008/09 season

http://www.statto.com/football/teams/in ... 09/results

Chelsea 2007/08

http://www.statto.com/football/teams/ch ... 08/results

All in all, boring is something of a tag that is not justified unless you get bored of winning and seeing a lot of goals as well

So the fact that he was involved in a spitting contest donkey's years ago rules him out of the job?

How fucking laughable is that?

As for his 'other' achievements, I'd say his turning Barca from also rans to European champions, whilst also pioneering a style of play they still use to dominate all around them even now, has to look pretty good on his CV.

Win percentage at Barca over 273 league games (five years, five seasons) was 58.61% ...... he also won the EUFA champions league and the Copa del Ray twice.

Win percentage at Galatasary over 67 games ( 1 season plus a few games) was 55.22% including a cup qtr final.

If you must totally twist statistics to suit your argument whilst trying to belittle mine, then you can expect me to come out firing mate.

And don't call me son - I'm probably older than you.

Fair enough if you just want to pick random seasons that suit your agenda. Shall we just ignore all the draws and 1-0 results in 2006/7 then?

Mourinho is a fantastic manager, but he is about results first and foremost, and I have been told on this very site that it's not all about results (which was news to me!)

None of this matters anyway, he isn't coming. I know that's upsetting but it's the truth.

Exactly! So why not put your energy into supporting the current manager and his team instead of fantasising about another manager (who you would probably want sacked after 18 months anyway).
