Potters or Trotters

Postby CityDub » Sat Apr 16, 2011 7:30 pm

So who we want in the Final ??both these are very similar sides ,they play as a team and win as a team , both physical sides ,two good managers ,but personally i'd like Stoke in the final after today ,of our ex players i'd rather Carlo Nash picks up a loser medal than Sturridge the whinger

Bolton. They've been great to watch all year - Coyle has them playing some really nice football. I'd also feel more confident against them than I would Stoke. Pulis' won't have forgotten '99 and we've had really mixed result against them over the pass few seasons.

Bolton. Every time. I'd half fancy Stoke against us whereas Bolton play the type of football we cope better with.

Bolton. It'd be a shame to the English game to see Stoke playing European football next season.

Bolton all day long. I believe Sturridge is cup-tied as well.

Stoke up 2, could these troglodytes really be representing England in Europe next season?

I was hoping bolton would win this just because there support is wank and it would leave more then a few spares in there allocation for blues who can't get one from city because of the OSC's and amazing support of the cup direct schemers without which we would be nothing.

Compare and contrast to yesterday's game. More like the FA Trophy than the FA Cup. HOOF!

Game over. Horrendous giveaway by Petrov.

3-0 Jones

All Petrov's fault losing the ball needlessly and not chasing back.

have to feel sorry for the Trots a little ,we played similar to them yesterday for the first 20 mins and by the grace of God(even though there is no god)we survived and got to grips with the pitch and the nerves .Stoke have had 3 shots and hit the jackpot every time .I do expect Notlob to get back into this but think 3 is asking too much .

Its a nice angle to this game. Two sides who were relegated to div 2 on the same day 14 years ago are now playing in the FA Cup final.
