Well done to Vinny and Carlos. When was the last time we had two players in the team?

Van der Sar
Sagna
Vidic
Kompany
Cole
Nani
Wilshere
Nasri
Bale
Tevez
Berbatov

Echo that.

Deserved their places in that squad. Komps especially. City player of the year for me atm.

What a munecentric load of old bollox that list is.

Van Der Sar - Hart has a better save ratio, and has kept more clean sheets.
[strike]Vidic - a decent enough player but it's a myth he's a world beater... as we showed many times yesterday[/strike]
Berbatov - Only scores hat tricks against shite teams.

Nani is the only Mune that deserves a place in that team. FACT

lol

I'll give ya Vidic then; Terry has been shite this year and Hangeland was a one year wonder.

Nigel ought to be worth a shout there as well.

Great job from Vincent tho. Tevez is honestly resting on a brilliant pre-transfer request form. On current form I'm not sure he starts ahead of balotelli if we only use one striker. That's not a joke. Crazy but not funny.

While there are certain good 'shouts' the fact is that the filth are leading the league and berbaflop is leading the scoring. There is a reason their players are in there.

I agreed with the berbatov comments! 5 against blackburn, 3 against liverpool, 3 against birmingham.

11 of his 21 league goals have come in 3 games. He's started something like 1 of the last 8 games?

As opposed to Tevez who scored all 19 of his goals against the top 3?

Don't be fucking retarded.

Nope, but when people call us 'bitters' it annoys the fuck out of me when they are given examples like this to be proven right.

who should the other center half be? i think vidic and kompany is the right pairing personally. don't get me wrong, i think kompany should've been nominated for POTY in his place, but i'd put vidic at number 2.

So if we were walking the league, would you think that only getting 1 player(the number we apparently are happy with the rags having) in the PFA team of the year would be justified?

nasri - great till xmas, mainly anonymous since
Bale - great against inter

As for Berbatov, I'd pick hernandez over him. Scored more important goals rather than getting a lot of them in a few matches. Berba only started against us, as hernandez can't do the one up front role, but berba is definitely 3rd choice for the rags now

yeah, i didn't suggest that either tevez or berbaflop shouldn't be in the list, but neither honestly is having an amazing season overall -- the bulgarian vampire because of his gaudy record vs shite opposition and Tevez due to his ineffectiveness the last few months.

i do think Nige and Joe Hart deserve a shout in this team, but i agree that Nani and Vidic are top shelf and ought to be in the side of the year. van der sar vs Joe is a healthy debate. Blue colored specs on it's Joe for sure, but tbh for his age and this team Van der Sar's done fantastically.

cheers

Vidic and Kompany are by leagues the best two central defenders in the Prem - couldn't have been anyone else.

Weird that Berba's scored so many yet by most accounts hasn't had a great season. Could've given it to someone like Elmander or Odemwingie - both are into double digits for much weaker sides.

Both Joe Hart and Peter Cech conceded less goals this year... typical Manu bias.

Also think De Jong should have been in there.
