What always makes me laugh is that we can have a general election in this country and know the result by the next day. The players vote for this at the beginning of December and it takes over 4 months to count up the votes. These team of the season things are a load of shit to be honest.

In a move that would surely shock both Manchester City and Manchester United fans alike, Dimitar Berbatov is considering a move to cross town rivals City in the summer, according to the Football Observer.

Berbatov’s contract with Manchester United runs out in 2012, and despite the striker being the top goal scorer for both United and the Barclays Premier League this season, Berbatov has struggled to start for a squad that includes the likes of star strikers Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez.

Berbatov is thought to be unhappy about his second rate position at Manchester United, and the issue came to head last month when a video was released of Sir Alex Ferguson pointing and laughing at Berbatov while he sulked on the bench during a game.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is reportedly thinking of selling Emmanuel Adebayor and Roque Santa Cruz in the summer, and with Carlos Tevez making his unhappiness at the club abundantly clear, a new striker might be exactly what the doctor ordered at Manchester City.

Berbatov left Tottenham for Manchester United in 2008 for a reported £30 million, and Ferguson will no doubt be trying to recoup as much of that fee as possible if he decides to let the match winner go.

Despite starting off the bench on many occasions this season, Berbatov has been an integral part of the squad, acting as a goal machine for United, but reports have speculated that Ferguson prefers the work ethic and pairing of Rooney and Hernandez to the Bulgarian international.

It's a piss-take if you ask me. Just from looking at the 1st name on the list it's easy to see how flawed/bias the system is. Yes, VdS may be at the top with the Rags but he isn't on top elsewhere as in the true stats and from individual performances; it's just because he is a retiring Rag, similar to when Giggs got the SPotY for his full 12 games played.

Some are definately their on merit whilst others are there because of their affiliations. Bit of a sham really.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

The PFA awards have become a joke. No one will take them seriously again.

Isn't it Team of the Year, though? Not Season? So moaning about Tevez' 2011 form is a bit off, no?

Fair list imo. Seems daft to get so worked up about it.

For me is surprising Cashlee Cole is in the top. I haven't seen him having a great season. Might as well had been Ekotto in the squad.

An article written by disgruntled rag.

Berbatov will move to City because he doesn't like being a flop at United and United are far too good for him.

GET FUCKED.

Hart should be in that team instead of VDS. Hart was in the PFA team of the year last year wasn't he?? Seems odd to take him out after he's even better than last season.

yeah, but i guess when you do the raggy math on them being top of the league and going unbeaten for so long it plays out on a psychological level. VDS isnt having a poor season either tbf. Granted tho, the logic of the keeper being in a lower-placed team with Brum last year but grabbing the honor and then not getting it with City this season doesn't make a lot of sense.

Does anyone really think Hart isn't the best keeper in the league? i doubt it. Esp. after last weekend. Two amazing saves to basically win us the match. Happy burfdai Joey. No, sorry, not you...the tall blonde one. Thanks.

cheers
