The Ref waved away a blatant foul on a Newcastle player.....100% PENALTY..and I'm not being biased.

Not especially blatant, but certainly by scum standards they get them all day every day and twice in Fergie time. They'll be raging, no one will care 'cos they're huffing and puffing a lot these days.

He jumped over the foot when he should have gone for the ball and gone down. We've had cards shown against us for similar so they've no right to be aggrieved. If they want to blame anyone they should blame their coach who was sitting in the stands and appears to have burnt his bridges, refs aren't afraid of him, aren't intimidated.

He bit off more than he could chew when he started trying 'mind games' with the ref he criticised a while back - no coincidence that ref got the FA cup final. I think the FA were hoping Utd would make it to the final though.

Got to say, did like seeing Bernstein sat next to Khaldoon on Saturday. Wonder if Dave joined in the Poznan?

nice to see taggart shake pardew's hand at the end of the game. united just ooze class when things don't go their way:

Did he not shake his hand? To be fair he'd have had a job from the stands unless he has an arm like Mick Hucknall on Bo' Selecta.

A win for them is massive for us....it would mean we still have a 4 POINT lead (taking goals scored for as an extra point)

I still think our best way of getting 4th is that Spurs fail and they need to start failing tonight.I would love to believe we will win at BBurn but still our away form worries me bigtime.

I think we will see a different mentality till end of the season....Vinnie and Nige stepped up to the plate (if the half time chat has any truth to it) and I honestly cannot see us reliving the scouse match again.

Heres hoping.

The thing that worries me is it the parallels with liverpool and the players being out ala after sunderland. Micah said on saturday they'd all be out celebrating that night (and rightly so), then nearly the whole team (including vinnie and nige) were out on monday, so hopefully the players can maintain form and go out. Not sure when Mario giving some of his winnings to a homeless bloke was? Probably Monday, but if we won every week I wouldnt care less if they were out every night of the week smashed out of there heads!

That match can honestly go either way. Could be very entertaining too.

There is also Copa del Rey final Real Madrid vs Barcelona today if someone is interested.
