This.

Of course, we'd rather want him to stay, but if he goes, we should ask for an amount like that, considering the prices paid for Torres and Carroll. Sanchez will not replace Tevez, but he'll be able to deliver balls for Dzeko and Balo, something we've been lacking thus far.

how is he not worth like double carroll or torres tbf? Sure we won't get it, but 40M would be a joke imho. if some fucktardo club wants to stump up 60M we should talk if he really wants away, but anything less i'd tell everyone to lick our hairy nutsack. Sure we don't need the money, but let's not be mugs, and let's use the asset for what it's worth given financial fair play, etc.

cheers

I would be surprised if Tevez leaves in a cash only deal tbh

I'm all the way with Doomy here, those hairy scrotes just need to be sucked. The way I see it is that if there is a better player for our team then get him in, but I don't see many to be fair. Also, we are already a man down in the forward department so we are already looking to strengthen, not deplete the squad.

Trouble is, no matter what we sell him for, we dont need the money.

I don't like his attitude off the pitch, but I haven't seen a better player in a city shirt for 25 years.

Without him, this season would have been pretty fucling awful

You say that but we don't actually know how we would of played without him. Would Balo of scored more? Would dzeko?. All I know is we did alright over Xmas without him and we just beat t scum in a cup semi final without him

If he is of at the end of the season to me its not such a big thing.
But for now if he can get fit for what he brings to the team regardless of his goal scoring is a plus to the side.I don't think he is selfish.
I also think he is due a goal(by that logic though so is Jo ) and in any game now that would be huge.

They haven't enough money or players really good for us actually! Only Barca or Real would sign Carlos for me!

Sneijder?

I think it will be hard for him to go to Barcelona, or even Real. At Barcelona, David Villa is number one, and is unlikely for Tevez to play as regular if front of him, as Barca uses only one striker, and two wingers. At Real, there is Benzema, Higuain and probably Adeba. Again, is not likely he will play regular, and if we recall, this was the main reason he left scum.

Barca play with two Inside Forwards wide (Villa & Pedro) & a False 9 in the center (Messi). He'd be a perfect Backup for Messi.

He would not be content with a part-time role though; if he goes there he would expect to play as part of the first XI.

He isn't going to go for a huge transfer fee to sit on the bench. And it seems Messi is pretty indestructable, so he would end up being played out of position if at all
