I could never see Tevez playing for Barca. He isn't a good passer of the ball and he also doesn't like to pass the ball to other players. Barca's pass, move and pressure system would collapse if Tevez played up front.

Well Spanish is fuckall the same as Italian so he will still suffer the language barrier.................I hope he goes now.

his language barrier is self-imposed. Like when my wife insists the children want to sleep in our bed because she knows i'll be trying to cut her in half with my magic wand penis all night.

Tevez is a lazy twat off the pitch, plain and simple. It's about money and easy street. Can't blame him, but he can fucl off if he's really got his heart set on leaving after all the love and success we've given him as a club and as fans.

I know he wouldn't go anywhere to sit on the bench.

I think he's a decent passer, look at some of the one-twos with Silva or Yaya at the edge of the box. I doubt Villa is a significantly better passer.
I also think he could adapt to the Barca way. He has the pressuring down & he likes to drop deep just like Messi.

i agree with that. I don't believe the bollox that he couldn't cut it at Barca. He'd flourish imho.

They haven't enough money or players really good for us actually! Only Barca or Real would sign Carlos for me!

Sneijder?

I think it will be hard for him to go to Barcelona, or even Real. At Barcelona, David Villa is number one, and is unlikely for Tevez to play as regular if front of him, as Barca uses only one striker, and two wingers. At Real, there is Benzema, Higuain and probably Adeba. Again, is not likely he will play regular, and if we recall, this was the main reason he left scum.

Remember we have David Silva in the same position! And don't forget the Dutch told recently to our Tuttosport magazine he is a Baconface personal admirer!

I thought there was supposed to be this shift happening in Juventus to bring them back to European greatness? So they might be an option. Also, with Inter winning the treble last year, they earned some impressive price money.

I wouldn't go for Sneijder though, unless we want to replace Silva. I wouldn't go for Eto'o either. We have Dzeko and Balotelli there and Eto'o's nearly done with his career anyway. As a matter of fact, I can't think of anybody at Inter I'd like.

He can fuck off to inter and good riddance. Scored a ton of goals and worked his socks off for us, but thinks he is bigger than the club and acts like an overall bellend. If he's really staying in the same hotel as the inter players and coaches then it is probably already settled.

He was a great player but truly failed to be a great leader. Given the captain's armband and doesn't even show to one of our biggest games for a decade. Plus he turned in a transfer request right in the middle of a great run of form for us. He's crazier than balo, but not in a good way

I think he's gone but while he was here he gave 100% every game. Obviously the off the field shit was an absolute pain though. If he goes we've got to look closely at the other two as well. Can Balotelli come good next season? Can we get Dzeko scoring lots of goals the way we play; narrow no crosses? Other worries do we need to go for a pair of overlapping full backs in Coentrao and Van der Wiel or stick with what we've got? Does Barry need replacing with a midfielder with more pace? Do we need a right footed wide man after experiencing the dangers of relying too heavily on AJ? Will Kolo come back or does he have to be replaced? What about Shay? If he goes is Taylor good enough to be number two? No in my view!

There's a lot more than Tevez to worry about in the close season if we want to get 80 point plus next season and challenge for the title.

Nothing should be settled though, Why do we always get shafted? Kia can fuck off, If tevez goes we should get something like 60 million. How can you get just a little bit more than torres, carrol et al.

The only quote in there is actually one that refutes what is being said in the re-hashed article:

Inter would be one of the few clubs with the financial power to arrange a possible deal, particularly if they sell Wesley Sneijder, but the Tevez camp have told this newspaper that reports in Italy of him verbally agreeing a five-year contract to move to San Siro are "categorically untrue".

Tevez has been staying in Milan, with City's permission, for treatment on the hamstring injury that is threatening to ruin his chances of playing in the FA Cup final. His girlfriend, an actress, is also currently working in the city. Tevez is being treated by the Argentinian team doctor at the hotel where Inter's players and staff stay before matches, the explanation being that the same doctor is also treating Walter Samuel.

As for the hotel, I find it very strange that there has not been 1 single picture of Carlos at the hotel, and moreover, with any of the Inter lot. You would've thought with such stories that there'd be some evidence with camera men and journo's camped outside his door.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Out of interest, does anyone know how long his girlfriend has been working in Milan? Was it before the new year or after?

If we sell him to Inter, we should try and get Eto'o coming the other way.

Would hate to see Tevez go though, despite playing well for 70 minutes last Saturday without him he is own best attacking player by far.

We need a right winger if we are going to continue with the system we have.

Im fucking sick to death of seeing £20m centre forwards playing on a wing. If we get a winger with some sort of ability to cross the ball, Dzeko, Balotelli and Adebayor could fill their boots

Matt Jarvis would definitely be a good shout for the wing.
Very pacey, very direct and good in the final third.
Wouldn't be too hard to get either.

Drogba. Would be ideal for us.

Charlie Adam would still be a good option for the squad too.

Forlan. Also would be interesting.

Charlie Adam has had a good season, not good enough thou for even his own team mates to vote him as their player of the year mind. Overrated in the extream imo, if they stay up he'll not even be half the player he was this season ... a one season wonder

You could be right. I think with better players around him, he could be really good. Squad, not starting though. Drogba? Now that really appeals and I reckon he's available. He would jump to us for 2 years on a daft salary. Picking Torres over him is laughable.
