Juventus v Catania last night... Catania 2-1 down, free kick in 5th or 6th minute of injury time.

Buffon sets his wall, and basically gives Catania 70-80% of his goal to aim at. Catania lad, he curled his shot in. Wild celebrations ensue. Gigi lad remained rooted to the spot. I don't know how long he thinks his arms are.

Sorry Mr Buffon... You are a shocking goalkeeper.

Juve were 2-0 up at one point. Awful season for 'one of the best defences in Europe'.

After seeing the goal I have to ask what the keeper should've/could've done there then?

Position himself better for a start?!

Free kick from that range, even if he stood in the middle he would not have been able to stop it. Now he chose a side of the goal to take care of puts the wall to protect the other side as keepers almost always do.

Player only needed to place it.

Glad we dont need to worry about signing keepers anymore.

I don't see how that goal is Buffon's fault. The wall was there to try to prevent the goal - no keeper is going to stand near the post that is covered by the wall.

Sevilla have just scored an almost identical goal to the Catania one. Keeper again rooted to the spot

Petty. Slagged the club off once, so he must be a shit player.

Not his corner, wall got dragged around & didn't jump properly & tbf the shot was well placed.

If his back wasn't shot, he's still be one of the best, if not the best. At 33, he's not even old for a keeper.

Is that a wall or a scrum?
