I don't see the beautiful game as pass pass pass pass pass.... Even when you are 2 yards from goal. Arsenal don't play the one beautiful way and need to get off their high horse. Arse put in some nasty tackles like the rest and it's great to see Wenger Go absolutely mental

If's and but's, but we would only be 2 points off Arsenal if we get wins in our games in hand, Ronan will appreciate this.

I believe that we'll finish above Arse this season. They're broke and ain't going to be fixed anytime soon

I think we should be going all out to try and finish above them, they're clearly in a terrible run of form and if we can avoid that qualifier then that would be great.

i think you're right. Arse are on a really poor run and we should take advantage.

Whopp de fuclin doo....At fuclin last, some of you are actually tilting your heads upwards and looking where we could possibly climb, rather than drop down to.
Not sure if we will, but catching Arsenal is certainly worth putting on the menu. Win our 2 games in hand and (with their superior goal difference) we'll need to fing another 3 pts from somewhere. They entertain the rags next at the Empty Crates Stadium and the rags could do us as big a favour there as they did recently at Wembley.

What about Chelsea?...Can we catch them....Call me a dreamer, but ain't that what it's all about? (Weeeeeell, some of it anyway). We can gain a possible 74pts if we win all our last games?...(not impossible...even for City). Do tyhat and we need another 6 pts (cosidering our inferior goal difference)...But Chelsea have yet to play Spurs (H) and the rags (A). Lose those 2 games or even lose 1 and draw the other and we are right up there in the mix with them.

Several weeks ago when some of you were contemplating the Samaritans, I told you there would be many twists and turns...It ain't over yet!!!

I always thought 4th was the minimum, however I am also aware of worst possible scenario. Those that aren't are just burying their heads in the sand, like the Hugheslickers did for so long...hey, you were one of them too weren't you?

Hahahaha...Just when I thought it was safe to take off the flak jacket...I get a dig in the ribs from reliable you....:-)

Not really Slim, as I'm sure you know. I have always been simply a Citylicker. I never expected Hughes to get it right 1st time round and thought City would benefit more by allowing him to rectify his mistakes and develop what he had started to build. Much the same as I currently think about Mancini.

I have always taken a positive view of City and I reason that this City side, even at this very early stage of development is statistically about the 10th best team in City's long history. If we were to win all our remaining games, It would be around 2nd in City's history (points per game).
I also think there are enough doom mongers and worriers on here who have been very quick to knee jerk and criticise and it needs the positive view as a counterbalance.

Football is about dreaming...some spend far too long dreaming of failure and being soaked in negativity. Often the same ones who criticise mancini for having their same mentality.
