That's the first thing that came to my mind reading this, too.

Ah right..so you'd rather me stand back and watch one of my good friends get his head kicked in by some cockney rags looking for trouble?

That might be your philosophy but I tend to help friends if they are in danger...

I didn't post this thread to be praised or chastised..it was just how the day panned out

Had those rags not turned up at the pub looking for a fight the day would have passed without incident

From the way you've written things, it seems as if:

a) Your mate threw the first punch

b) You kicked a guy when he was already on the deck

c) You waded into a one-on-one fight, thus encouraging a brawl

Correct me if any of those statements are wrong, but they hardly put you in the best of lights...

It is blatantly obvious that the only purpose of this thread is to tell us all that you 'had a row' and went 'toe to toe' with a few rags before they were 'on their toes'.

You told us all this last weekend in a post equally littered with catchphrases from the Danny Dyer handbook.

That's not true at all..this thread was to tell you my day from start to finish and was inspired by Beefys thread

What IS blatantly obvious is that it's no coincidence that the people I dislike most on this forum came on this thread solely and specifically to have a pop.

I don't claim to be an angel..and yes I have been known to like a scrap..but at the end of the day this time the rags came looking for trouble and found it..and I'm sorry if that offends you Mother Theresa types but I frankly don't give a fuck

Cheers

This is real Beeks bashing thread isn't it?

People wading into a row giving out about people wading into a row.

Excellent.

I don't know the ins and outs of this row, but sometimes its unavoidable and thouroughly deserved when someone gets a slap. Not over football. Not over any one subject, but over invading your personal space. If someone got in my face I'd have no problem slapping them, no matter how big they were.... because if I didn't, I'd feel tortured afterwards.

I'm no thug, but I'm no mug either. This isn't black and white IMO.

If you find his story unsettling or offensive, then just leave the thread alone. Everyone seems to be getting very PC and very offended lately. It seems to be the way of the world though...

Have to agree with Dub.....it's funny as I like Beeks....and also like the likes of BiB, CityGer and Ronk a great deal. I find it laughable that the two cousins are the ones who started coming all holier than thou when I can imagine they are anything but.

I don't "get" going out looking for a ruck at the football but just like Ronan said, I would definitely be someone who would react if some idiot(s) were trying to get such a reaction so I don't condemn Russ or anyone else in a similar situation.

United fans are by and large fucking scum and from the tales I've heard as to their conduct at Wembley I find it hard to condemn this or any other account of them getting a bit back. It's not big and it's not clever but lots of them will have 100% deserved it

I wasn't being critical of what Beeks gets up to. That's entirely up to him and I have no issue with it. It was more the manner in which the tale was told and the manner in which it was told last weekend.

I'm certainly no Mother Theresa type, I just find the Danny Dyer chat hillarious as I do the fact that Beeks, not getting the response he wanted last weekend to his hoolie tale, changed tactics and packaged it in it's own thread.

I'm still getting my head round getting shit on a city forum for smacking a rag

Not only that but a rag that came to an all blue pub with his mates looking for it

Not only that the main offenders are two racists and a Hun

The worlds gone fucking mad

Can you read properly, Danny? Or are you too 'naughty' for that? I think I've made my position clear on this. It's your shocking patter I'm taking the piss out of. I agree, if the rag came on your 'manor' giving the 'big un' you were well within your rights to 'give him a slap'. Glad you and the other city 'faces' all 'got on your toes' before the 'law' caught up with you.

Proper naughty.
