Hey, Mother Teresa may have helped lepers, but that doesn't mean she was filthy rag scum.

I enjoyed the post Bish........whilst I do not condone violence (cough) any RAG that gives it the biggun 2 inches from a City Fans face deserves a slap imo...and another just to ensure the message got across.

Next time try and not glorify the story.......for example....had a nice drink with lads...Rag came up trying to start a fight..he got smacked. The end.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

So 'true blues' brag about kicking a guy when he's on the floor in your book? Nice.

Whether he deserved a clip or not is besides the point (but for the record I think he probably did). But wading into a one-on-one fight inside a pub is just creating potential trouble for everyone else in there, too. What if a kid had got glassed accidentally in there?

Were not racists and neither are we thugs, we go to games shout swear and occasionally scream. We get involved in banter and are proud to be blue. I do get embarrassed by some of our fans though. I'm all for celebrating and friendly banter but there was a group of blues walking through Blackburn fans after the game throwing all sorts of insults about which makes us look like the arrogant cunts across the way. Shouting your just a town full of inbreds to young families walking by is just bad taste. I've managed to follow city since I was 12 and 14 years on I've never NEEDED to have a fight ever

I have to admit I dont agree with Kicking anyone, I have been in many a scrap in my younger days and never once did I kick anyone and before you go off on one calling me a thug, I can honestly say that I have never started a fight in my life.

Mate, we all get in the odd scrap, we may even start some of them. But starting brawls inside a pub, going into a one-on-one, and kicking someone on the ground are things that I draw the line well before. As is justifying it by saying 'he was looking for it', and adopting some kind of Essex wide-boy wannabe lingo to describe it.

Ok fair enough we all do things we sometimes wish we had not done in the heat of the moment.

You really do have a problem controlling yourself when you don't get your own way, don't you?

Everyone is getting very offended on here lately. Its hilarious.

If you don't like racism, have a cry. If you don't like xenophobia, have a cry. If you don't like mocking a tragedy, have a cry. If you don't like violence, have a cry.

There are some right fucking whingers on this board. People conduct themselves in different ways. They have different feelings towards things and have different ways of expressing those feelings.

You should never say anything hiding behind a computer screen that you wouldn't say in the flesh. Because the golden rule of life, whether the "easily offended" like it or not, is that the bigger animal does not have to listen to the little animal's shite.

I try to stay away from big cunts that I dislike. Both on here and in real life.

Sorry to get a bit 'deep' on this, but everything I say on here, I'd have no problem saying to a friend or long-term acquaintance (I got into a scuffle for saying something almost identical to this a couple of New Years ago to a guy I know who was bragging at a party about hitting a Cardiff fan over the head with a fire extinguisher after the south Wales derby). However, if it was some dick in a pub mouthing off, I'd keep quiet. Conversely, Alun (the guy I got rowdy with) would never have the guts to brag about stuff like that in a pub, for fear of pissing off the wrong person, too. However, he was willing to act the big man in front of his mates.

I suppose it depends on how we see others on the forum as to how comfortable we are to reveal our true selves, and to chastise each other for it.

Yeah that's fair enough and I don't know you in real life so I hope you didn't feel I was directing anything at you, but I stick by that golden rule of not saying anything I wouldn't say in the flesh.

For the record, I'd have no problem calling Beeks a cunt to his face and if I haven't already done so, I promise I will next time I'm over :)
