Phil Jones

We should buy this lad before someone else does. Would be perfect on right side of midfield, looks like a young Stevie Gerrard and can double up as a central defender if needed. Think he is only 19, what a prospect

I know it doesn't matter very much but he's quite a hot prospect in FM too, and they often get it right :D

He played very well last night....but then again, so did Benjani and I wouldn't be rushing to re-sign him

He is a center half and a decent prospect but I just don't think he has even close to the talent needed to play midfield.Don't let the fact that he ran through our midfield fool you into thinking he can play.

Seems to be quite a common theme at the mo, someone has a decent game against us and then people reckon we should sign them without even considering the new financial and 25man squad rulings .... still

this for me too, certainly not a winger in my book but a centre half that can do a job in crisis in midfield, at 19 he looks a beast, similar player to vinny. It would be a yes from me to too.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whenever Benjani got the ball it was an instant phewwwww from me......I was so fucking relaxed as I knew it would result in pretty much fuckall which it invariably did.

He is still fuckign pap and he probably played the best game that I have ever seen.

Saw him play 45 minutes against our EDS lot a few weeks back as well.Big strong player but when he got on the ball there was no quality. He might drive forward with the ball on occasion when he sees a gap but hasn't got any end product.

You surprise me Doug, Rags, Arsenal & Chelsea have a very close eye on him, he is IMO opinion going to be top class. I will be surprised if Kiddo does not have the kids number.

No problem keeping an eye on him as a center back option but I just don't think he is anything else.

think for a 18 year old he is a very good prospect, but better than our young defenders i dont know, boyatta is a class act, so i would save our money and keep what we have got

Fair point, for me he will be class, + a defender who can pass a ball with either foot, decent pace, must have player for any team.
