The thing is that we're such a Jekyll and Hyde team. Consecutive victories appear beyond us.

We had one decent spell, in which we did LFC 3-1 and then Stoke 3-0 and seem to just have collapsed since.

I'd love to beat Wigan and Blackburn and send them down in our stead, believe you me, but, by way of illustration, if we beat Wigan, they'll be the only team we double all term.

2 wins 1 loss and a draw pal. You`ll stay up. I`d rather 2800 hammers fans at our place than 41 wigwammers. In fact 2800 hammers fans than any other fans to be honest. Good luck pal.

I sincerely hope you stay up Walmai, dont lose hope, 3 points covering the bottom 5, you have 4 games left. You play 2 of the other 4 in the bottom 5 and a last day game against a crap sunderland that were hoping for europe early doors but have just scraped to safety and will have nothing to play for. I think your chances are very much alive, even against us, we have not shook off the "typical City" tag yet, even if we are overwhelming favourites for this game.

Good luck for the reast of the season, hopefully you will get some.....after Sunday ;-)

I have always had a soft spot for West Ham and think theyre a great football club and i really hope they manage to stay up.

Here's a podcast previewing the city/west ham game, whilst also discussing the united/arsenal game and reviewing the Champions League games from this week

(plus below, a great article entitled "Why Now is the Time to Stamp the Hatred out of Football")

I know lots of hammers fans - all good genuine blokes - the club and its fans remind me very much of City before the money - really really hope they stay up. There are 18 other clubs in the PL I would rather see go down - just wish we were not playing them - and sorry to say I only see 1 outcome

I remember being at the second last game at Maine Road the season West Ham went down. They beat us one nil and I remember no one really giving a toss. Our season was a dead rubber by that point and I think it was Bolton who were also in contention to go down. It was 0-0 with ten minutes to go and you could almost feel our crowd will West Ham on.
