If they're going to charge, they should at least be free for Seasoncard holders who are unable to get a "real" ticket.

Oh come off it a fivers not a rip off! Think of it as a GREAT day out and an investment that adds to the clubs turnover. You dont HAVE to go but its worth it.

I don't know. I'd never pay a fiver to drink £3+ pints out of plastic cups. If you can take your own drink, it would be a different matter (although I won't be in Britain at the time).

I honestly don't think a fiver is bad to be able to watch the game surrounded by fellow blues along with the entertainment that the club will throw in too.

Having said that, I'd better not be there. PLEASE let there still be tickets for Wembley on sale by Wednesday

That's the key for me, when I watched at the Hatter in NYC I said to Natalie afterwards that honestly I would have paid to get in to enjoy the match with fellow blues like that.

It is a bit of a rip off when they are making money on food and booze but charging will keep the numbers manageable and I would be amazed if they weren't having to pay extra for security and maybe even the police given the occasion and the likelihood that the Salford knobheads might try to get along to ruin things.

I'd pay it but I can 100% understand those who wouldn't wanna. Fully agree with BT that any seasoncard holders who can't get tickets should get in free or for (say) 2 quid rather than 5.

I know a couple of lads who went there for the semi and they said it well worth turning up as they had a great day with like-minded Blues with no need to worry about the Scum element that they'd get in the pubs.

Also, he said the money was for stewarding, which the club obviously have to account for.
