LookMum is bang on about the Mail getting paid if you click on their site - so, whether you think they have an agenda against us or not, you are making money for them by reading their shite. Just don't bother reading it.

Absolutely nothing in it at all. The photographers haven't got a picture of a bad tackle happening, they havent got a picture of Vinnie and Mario fighting. They are not good enough to get such pictures as they were not there to be taken.Plus they are not good enough anyway. What they have got are random pictures that they have tried to make a big story out of when in reality there is no big story.

Vinnie in strong tackle intraining s ession. That's not news thats an everyday occurence. Striker didn't like strong tackle by defender, big deal what's new. A bit of finger wagging and no doubt words spoken, oooooh how dare they lets get it into the headlines.

Load of garbage. I wasn't there and have no idea what happened but handbags I have no doubt.

It looked like a big 'Fuck You' to all the shit stirrers to me!

Well done lads.

what happened was mario pulled out a samurai sword following a tackle from vinnie that he didn't like. luckily vinnie's shinpads took the blow, nige growled at them both and they apologised to each other. mario then gave 3M to zabba coz he looks scruffy, texted joey barton and then fell asleep sucking his thumb.

I also wasn't there and have no idea what happened.

I wondered why Vinnie was running back from the centre circle. Seems them boys will do their talking on the pitch.

As you say mate, well done lads.

Could just as easily be a staged effort at shutting up all the shit stirrers out there.

Can't help but think that Vinny, if pressed on the issue, would tell you that Balo is a clown who needs outing from the club.

For me Vinnie has always shown he is a leader and there must be a massive chance that he will become captain next season.I think the players look up to him already anyway.

There was something at training the other day when it had effectively all finished but I heard Vinnie shouting/saying something which sounded like it was telling some players to stay out for some shooting practice but not just anybody who fancied it. I may be wrong but it really did sound like a voice of authority and was listened to. He oozes class and authority.

I've been saying it for ages now. Man is natural leader on and off the pitch. Also fantastic face for the club in public. He will not constantly threaten to quit the Club and fuck off to Las Palmas when injured (our captain) nor will he ever get caught in doping test (our vice captain).

I don't understand why he wasn't made the skipper before the season. Ok, Mancini seems to be in the best player is the captain school of thought but for me captain should represent leadership, values and longevity. The first two Kompany has in abundance and he seems REALLY settled in Manchester so I think we have career Blue in him.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

haha that's fucking brilliant.....absent any idea whatsoever as to what Vincent thinks re Balo, and flying in the face of evidence to the contrary, just project your views and say that you're sure that Vincent shares them.

Not at all. My view is that Vinny, a top pro who clearly wants the best for the club, would prefer it if Balo wasn't around. It's an assumption, yes, but a fair one I'd say, given what I have seen of both individuals.

You honestly think the other squad members are happy having Balo around the place, constantly causing controversy, sulking and walking a tight rope in every game? You're naive if you do.

His "constant controversy" if he were a colleague of mine I would find quite entertaining (parking tickets, throwing darts blah blah). I actually can't see that it would bother the vast majority of them in the least. The only thing that would have pissed me off was the sending off against Kiev. But if we extend that logic then the players a few seasons ago must've wanted shut of Dunne post Hamburg then.

Quite honestly I think that the players would prefer to have someone like Balo around who is entertaining than some sulky cunt who was not justifying his fee (think Berbatov in his first season at United) and I'd even go as far as to say that I would like having him around more than someone who I resented (Tevez) because of his unwillingness to fully commit to the cause and be (likely) wanting to abandon ship just as things were going well.

I fully respect your opinion mate but you cannot extend your own thinking and values and assume that, because you (like me) like Kompany and the way he goes about his business, he shares your views
