Manchester City eye Bayern's teenage midfield star Derflinger
Manchester City are interested in Bayern Munich midfielder Christian Derflinger, 17.
Departing coach Louis van Gaal has highlighted the Austrian as one the best talents at the club.

Bit of a surprise to me this, considering the club's current attitude to 'Munich'

Everton, Stoke lead race for Man City striker Bellamy
Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy is ready to move on.
The Sunday Mirror says Bellamy is ready to make a return to the Premier League next season – with Everton and Stoke City leading the race.
Bellamy is leading boyhood team Cardiff towards promotion but is due to return to Manchester City in the summer at the end of his loan spell.
Bolton and old club Blackburn are also keen, but the cost of the deal makes them also-rans in the pursuit.

Manchester United will make a move for Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given as they look for a replacement for current keeper Edwin van der Sar, who is set to retire at the end of the season. caughtoffside.com (see yesterdays bollox)

Manchester United are going head to head with rivals Manchester City in a £55m summer transfer tussle over midfielders Alexis Sanchez and Wesley Sneijder. Chilean Sanchez currently plays for Udinese, while Dutchman Sneijder is an Inter Milan player. Daily Mail (see yesterdays bollox)

WAG OF THE DAY
Jealous fox Frankie Sandford is in a panic as boyfriend Wayne Bridge is set to go on a wild lads’ holiday without her.
West Ham player Wayne Bridge, 30, is planning to go crazy in LA next month with fellow footie stars Ashley Cole, 30, and Shaun Wright-Phillips, 29.
Image
And though Frankie Sandford, 22, is fuming at the thought of her fella surrounded by hot bikini babes, he’s told he she’ll have to like it or lump it.
The trip is being organised by SWP, who wants the knees-up to be a legendary affair to celebrate the fact he’s reportedly leaving Man City.
The fun-loving lads are planning to blow a month’s salary in the first three days of the booze-fest – and have banned girlfriends from joining them.
Insiders revealed: “Frankie got pretty ratty when she heard about the holiday plans.
“She’s seen the pictures of Wayne and Shaun caning it last year and fears he may get out there and act like he’s single again.
“Wayne told her she’d have to do without him for a couple of weeks, but she wasn’t happy at all.”
In spite of the girlfriend ban, love rat Ashley has told ex-wife Cheryl, 27, that if she wants to spend some time away from the media she can join him for a while.
So it seems the Girls Aloud singer is allowed, but Frankie’s been left in the cold.
Wayne might find if he enjoys himself too much he could lose the Saturdays sizzler.
But we guess he’ll have to cross that Bridge when he comes to it.

I'm sure 'Arry's threat to quit Spurs, if any of his 'stars' were to be sold, would be quickly withdrawn if a few brown envelopes were to be passed over to him as part of any deals.

He's nothing if not financially pragmatic.

What makes Redknapp think he won't be sacked anyway?

and that's pounds...translate it to dollars and you'd be hardpressed to spend that cash in 3 days without something so epic they should film it for the Hangover III. Total bollox.

cheers

I'm not implying he will be sacked, I'm implying he seems to presume that his job is safe.
