I had to applaud them mate. Even though they're down in the mire, they still managed a bit of fun. Reminds me somewhat of ourselves.

Their team is as good as relegated and they are still doing stuff like that! Reminds of how we used to eb.

Yeah I had some fun with the hammer fans here too. Good blokes.

Travelled back on the train to Birmingham with a large group of them and two hours of "three weeks from going to coventry" and "four weeks before going to Millwall" together with a song for Sun Jihai persuaded me that they are where we were a few years ago, proud and with tradition but a group of fans without anything great to support on the pitch. They will like us keep the faith and be back,
Good luck to them
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

I still think they'll stay up. I think they'll beat Wigan, beat Sunderland and get a point against Blackburn.

With a competitive goal difference, 39 points should just be enough.

I think the teams to go down will be Wolves (can't win do or die games), Blackpool (United, Bolton and Spurs in last three games!) and the loser of the Wigan/West Ham game (though if it's a draw, West Ham are fucked).

well, i've just done the bbc predictor thing and was surprised to find wet spam staying up on 39 - including a 1-1 draw against wigan. Going down were bburn, wigan and blackpool.

frighteningly - it also had liverpool just 2 points behind us. i resolve to stop doing the bbc predictor.

just tried the bbc predictor. I have us finishing with 67 points. 5 more than spurs and liverpool who are level on 62. Then I have Wolves, Blackpool, and Wigan going down.
West Ham will be safe.

I am fine with west ham doing the poznan,,, they may be doomed to relegation but they retain their sense of humour, they are all right by me.

Blackpool was a nice day out, if they do stay up we could do with getting them away in the early part of the season when it's nice and warm.

Or even away on the last day of the season...It'd be a great place to have a celebration.

Just saw an interview with Gold, where he said himself, Sullivan and Brady didn't come to Eastlands cause they're away form is so bad. How a muppet like that can run a football club is beyond me. I feel really sorry for West Ham, produced some great players and alway a good footballing side. They're the closest thing to a second club I have. Hope they stay up.

I'd be devastated if someone like Wigan stayed up at the expense of West Ham. Have had a few trips there over the years on away days and it's a top place. It's a bit of a footballing cliché that everyone loves them, but rightly or wrongly they're an institution in English football and the Premier League would be worse off without them. Look at the JJB, or whatever they're fucking calling it. They get about 10 people in for home games.

Did the BBC predictor though and unfortunately got West Ham down, along with Blackpool and Wolves. City finishing 4th and the filth winning the league, Liverpool in fifth. I'd love nothing more than Chelsea to pip the title, us to finish 3rd, and West Ham to stay up. Highly unlikely of course but then stranger things have happened.
