Here is the wiki update for Nigel

De Jong scored his first goal for Manchester City in a 2-1 victory against West Ham United on 1 May 2011.[21]There is currently heated debate as to whether the May Day holiday was pre-emptively put in place in readiness for national Nigel de Jong day, the name by which it shall be henceforth known.

Crowd reaction at 0:46 is incredible and completely deserved - Nige's one of the best players at the club and one of my favourites in the 16 years I've been following City.

I really wish that they had the option to watch broadcast games like this. The commentators just say what your eyes can already see and then add a load of nonsense on top. It's ok if it is an ex-player or manager that I respect (interesting to hear their opinion), but most of the time it's annoying chit-chat. Just hearing the crowd and people yelling makes you feel like you're there and is almost meditative in a way

I agree to a degree. When I was rooting for the Netherlands against Brazil and Spain, I was getting fed up about them whining how defensive the Netherlands were. Just commentate on what's happening instead of ranting.

However, when a goal is scored, I do like the emotion you hear from the commentators. Can't hear enough De Joooooooooooooong!!!!!! The better the goal, the better the reaction.
