Barca V Real Madrid.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Mascherano is a disgrace to football and i dont know how he can call himself a football player. I would stop watching City if we started with these antics. Someone has to get a grip on these players at they are destroying the beautiful game of football.

I wanted to punch my TV at the end when Diarra tackled him and got the ball but the soft cunt rolled around for 10 mintues. I wouldnt wish a broken leg on anyone but that cheeting cunt......and Rooney.

Ah well - at least this has been an entertaining game.

It has been entertaining, and Barca have made some great moves. Madrid came close if tranny played a better pass. I want to keep football as a contact sport, despite the direction it seems to be heading

this game is a fucking joke, Madrid were robbed of a clear goal by a defender diving

What game were you watching? Tranny fell on to Mascherano, by mistake granted, but if he had stayed on his feet instead of poncing around then the goal would have stood. It was totally his fault.

He was, yes. But its not fair to label the whole team like that. Messi always tries to stay on his feet, as does xavi, but they take some hits!

I guess Jose will be happy with the ref tonight, Real should have ended the game with 8 players on the pitch; Carvalho, Xabi Alonso and Diarra should all have been sent off for their repeated fouling but the ref never went past the first yellow card. Barca's diving was bad in the first leg but tonight I don't think they have dived so much; they were really fouled by the Real players. Especially the last 15 minutes were embarrassing for Jose's team, they never got a touch of the ball, and always ended kicking a Barca player instead.

Thats what Madrid need - some fight and spirit. Better than going out with a whimper

Ban Mascherano for life

Are you watching the same game as me?

How can you not notice the number of times the Barca players would act injured, them run away ok once the ref showed a card. It is disgusting and there is no excuse. What happened to men being proud to be tough? Would you do that playing in a Sunday league or pick-up?

It was fucking embarassing some of the snidey fouls from real cos they couldn't keep pace with the game. Can't wait to see barca embaress utd!

I actually thought Real showed pretty good composure to not do anything stupid. If I was on the field and the other team was faking to be injured after every tackle, I'd give them a real injury to cry about. Break their ankle and see if they cry wolf again

Its funny when you watch games from 5-10-20 years ago, players have this miraculous ability to stay on their feet even when being touched by someone else. Players didn't used to throw up their hands every time they fall. Players didn't used to roll around like they've been stabbed.

Maybe this whole generation has just gotten weak from not drinking enough milk. I thought it was known that if you dally on the ball, you can expect to see someone trying to tackle you. I'm still in disbelief that other people cannot see the huge change in the attitude (pride) of players.

If it was after every tackle, I might agree with you. But it wasn't, it was after every foul!

I get what you are saying about the past, but this is the game nowadays. Think how good the best players in the last 40 odd years would have been without the famous hatchet men from the old first division.

Mascherano is the worst example of this modern breed of whiny, diving, cheating player. He is a cunt of the highest order and I would be incredibly ashamed if he played for City. I have lost count of the number of times he rolled around on the pitch tonight whilst simultaneously clutching his leg and looking at the ref to see if a card would be brandished, then getting up as soon as the free kick was (wrongly) awarded

the one by the corner flag was ridiculously embarrassing tonight, I dont know how he can face people in the street after that, I couldn't...but its their mentality. If they are going to roll around for if you touch em, make it real and hope they don't get up. Be as clever at fouling as they are at feigning, que sara.

Zabaleta & Tevez don't seem to be like that & even though he always was a cunt, Mascherano's true acting talent didn't emerge at Liverpool. A player who likes to dish out, but starts rolling around after the slightest of touches. Imagine de Jong being like that? It'd be embarassing.

Maybe the spanish league brings out the worst in them.

Zabaleta and Tevez don't because they play for the mighty Man City and know that our fans would never condone behaviour like that. Mascherano is doing what countless Argies before him have done in world cups etc. He was even doing this sort of thing at Liverpool

Exactly. Marcello get all ball in the corner, and messi rolls around provoking the fans so the ref gets a yellow. As soon as the yellow appears, messi stands up and walks away. Everyone takes hits
