Funny reading BBC, it's as if they're Spuds fans:

1859: Michael Dawson fires a shot into the side-netting as Spurs attack from a corner. They have got to keep pushing forward - nothing less than a win will do.

From Phil, on text: "So frustrating watching Spurs. City lose, Spurs are at home to a team threatened with relegation, Champions League place still to play for... why aren't they coming out all guns blazing?"

1856: Peter Crouch came on for Gareth Bale, by the way. Let's hope that isn't a bad injury for the Welshman, we can't be having players like him being kicked out of action. Charlie Adam gets a huge cheer from the Blackpool fans are he goes to take a corner - though those fans won't know how bad the challenge looks after a few replays.

1854: This game is getting much more physical. Alex-John Baptiste slides in on Luka Modric and takes the Croatian out, never got near the ball there. No booking for Charlie Adam, and no booking for Baptiste. Hmm.

1852: Ouch, nasty-looking one that for Gareth Bale. He tries to nick the ball away from two Blackpool players but Charlie Adam seems to tread on his ankle, and the Spurs man is in all sorts of bother. Could've broken his ankle there, the more you see it the worse it gets... it's an absolute shocker.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

IF they can hang on we owe them a loan signing or two next season (which ever level they end up playing at)

They got two consecutive penalties in a minute? Where they justified? Or Twichy will blame City again?

Fantastic! I can't bare to actually watch it, but I'm keeping an eye on the Beeb, they seem to of had a 'wobble' because it went from 0-1 to 0-0 again.. I though 'what the fuck!'! ;-)

It was Nige's fault, the same with Bale's leg/ankle/whatever.

I don't think I've ever seen that at any level of football... Two pens at the same end within around a minute.

Fair play to the ref for having the balls to give them both... Many would have crumbled
