Christine

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Christine

Postby Piccsnumberoneblue » Wed May 11, 2011 7:10 am

Talking to a mate last night and he was saying that after chatting with a very senior source (very senior) at City the ambition is to bring Christine back to England. Now far from merely speculating whether that is true or not, what I really wanted to ask is how would you feel about that. Christine would no doubt bring a lot of goals and I'm sure he would be a success. But Christine?!?!
Yes or no?

I would rather chew my own arm off than see that whinging diving cheating show pony at our club

Tevez is one thing...but fake ronaldo is a bridge too far

I think barring chuckle1 it would be the most repulsive City signing ever and I seriously think there would be a fans backlash

Some well chosen P R and twenty five goals, including a couple at the Swamp, would sort it out as always.

The thing about Ronaldo is; even if he'd never played for the rags, he'd still be an obnoxious, horrible, slimey cheating, piece of dog shit. Most of them learn that at Utd but he actually brought them more of it. Quite an achievement.

Surely there are other players in the world we can sign?

The words would have to be very well chosen indeed, but I think we'd need a damn sight more than 25 goals to 'convince' most.

You know what, it's no secret that
that I go with "no rags EVER" approach. If it was down to me that is. Butthere's no arguing with the fact that he is second best attacking player in the world.

luckily that rag fuck would never come.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I feel like throwing up, just thinking about him in our shirt. The chairman and the board talk about retaining the soul of the club, this is quite a contradiction, more like selling the soul of the club. I, being a fan without geographic ties to MCFC, would find it very hard to defend my support for the club if this turns out to be true. Loved the Tevez signing and was warming to the idea of signing Wooney but this is just wrong

whether he is better than Messi or whether he'd come or not?

he is not better than Messi and he desperately wanted to leave the swamp where he was adored. As far as pure attacking execution goes no one in the world comes close to those two.

If for some reason he can't work with Mourinho, as some rumours suggest, there are only a few clubs who could possibly take him. I doubt the Italians will cover his wages or the fee so it would come down to us or Chelsea.

I've been told by a rag mate that Ronaldo still has a house in this area. I doubt he'd give a shit about any phoney loyalty to rags if we offered him the best deal & prospects. It's all down to whether Real & Jose want to keep him or cash in imo. If he leaves, we'll probably get the cunt.

Just had a text telling me how reliable that source is. Wow. Wish I'd taken more notice of it now as to whether it was nailed on or just an idea.

I'm with mike. Utter twunt at rags but you can't doubt what he'd bring us.

We could bag the title next season with him playing for us. No doubt.
