Are We On The Brink?

Postby Beeks » Wed May 11, 2011 8:30 am

Of something special at our club?

Will we now push on and start winning trophies left right and centre with some of the best players in the world scrabbling to wear sky blue?

I still think it all feels like a dream since the day I returned from the shop to sky sports telling me we were trying to hijack the berbaflop deal

As much as everyone..including me..crow on and moan sometimes..we have come a fuck of a long way in a short space of time

Some naysayers think we have not progressed fast enough and point to Chelsea..but the fact is that they were already a top 4 side before Romans billions whereas we were mid table fodder at the very most

I'm delighted with the way our club has moved forward and looking forward..like all good movies..to what happens next

Pass the popcorn

It will happen. It's just a case of whether we do it next season or whether we do the City style 'one step backwards' dance before going forwards again. If the new players undoubtably targeted settle quickly, then we'll be in business, if not, we'll need another year.

A decent title challenge with good football will do me, we don't have to win it.
