Tevez had been out through the 1st half and then for the majority of the 2nd half as per Mancini's orders, but with less than 10 minutes to go, obviously gave up the ghost and took his seat. At this point I said to my mate that this was the end of Tevez and that Mancini was proving a point that he was the boss and he'd do what he wanted and he wouldn't be playing in the Final. Basically telling Tevez to fuck off.
What I also found wierd was that a few others came out to warm up and most trained happily chatting with Tevez. However, when Mario and Dedryk came out they kept a very, very wide berth, almost to the point of not even looking at him, Mario turning his head and eyes in a fashion that reminded me of a little kid who couldn't bring themselves to look someone square in the eye, but just had to get a glimpse.
Anyway as Tevez sat, Mancini fumed at him for taking a seat, at which Tevez fumed back and gesticulated a few times while running down the touchline and trying to get his bib back on. He was then called forward which he looked very happy, and with an arm around his shoulder and a few words in his ear from Mancini, went on to have a decent 10 minutes.
Then, when the game finished and the congratulations went on, he joined in with the celebrations in a bit of a stand-off'ish way and then walked slowly, with Nige, to the East corner to throw his shirt into the crowd - when I say walked with, I should really say 'walked apart from' as there was a 5 yard gap between them all the way there and then all the way back without even a glimpse at each other.
I'm not sure what I'm trying to say here, I'm more of putting down an observation to see if others saw it the same way as me, or if they saw anything different.

Walks to the bench, still smiling talking to Given and then gets told off by Mancini for having stopped warming up, Tevez annoyed, gets told to put his bib on, 5 mins later, he's allowed on and there's that big smile again. I found myself chuckling.

I would have Nigel as one of Carlos's mates.

We won the semi without him. I'm not convinced we would have won it with him. Start him on the bench for the final.

Yet in his ten mins last night, his hold up play was fantastic and he would have had one goal and one assist only for last ditch saves. Not bad for an unfit striker. Our TEAM looked better with him in it. Although I never doubted that was the case.
If I had one wish as far as new deals go it would be that he has signed a new five year deal. We have the best striker in the premier league and we're about to lose him.
It fucking stinks.

Thats EXACTLY how I think of him....I do not forget whereas OD,s of the world obviously do...I will not miss him..I will miss his goals (from last year mainly) but if we replace him with someone that scores the same amount or as a TEAM we score the same amount I wont be fussed.
Having said all that it was also obvious that when he came on for his 10 mins he did extremely well although imo Dzeko whilst poor as a forward did other things in the game which benefited us.

Because the city is half fucking Italian... have you ever even been to Boca?
Italy is engrained in the citys history. Seriously, are you taking the piss?

Apparently it confirms Tevez has agreed terms with Inter

D'you know what mate, Fuck off. He wasn't man city born and bred and is entitled not to fall in love with the club. He has done wonders for this club and won games on his own. He may not receive legend status if he goes now, but he's been nothing but class on the pitch. Pulling up songs like that from the past is well out of order. You're a dick.
