Subject to a very stringent medical, it's a yes from me.

Torres and £30m then maybe, otherwise, not a chance.

not in a lifetime. we will never see the player we saw for two seasons at liverpool again. something inside him has died. you could put him in barcelona and he wouldn't look as good as he was at liverpool. he has no drive and looks disinterested in the game.

I agree, Tevez is the best striker I have ever seen at City. We need to work it out with him, whatever the fuck are the issues. He's been fantastic.

What has he done in the past 18 months to show the he is a top player. Riding on his reputation (a great one, but not exactly over a long period of time) for too long. He'll never be the same player.

Is the assumption that Tevez is off in the summer no matter what?

I don't think I could stand seeing him play for another English side, so no. But replacing him with Torres as long as he is off out of the country, that's doable.

I have doubts about torres' mental/emotional strength ... I think it's a case of signing a name, even though we could find other players to perform at the same level that torres would (or atleast what he has recently at chelsea and liverpool)

Totally agree. I think Tevez has proved he's a better during his time with us.

I'd swap him for Ronaldo, if Ronaldo wasn't Ronaldo. Otherwise, only Messi for me.

Not a chance

If Carlos is to leave them we cannot sell him to another english team that would be stupid, we should part ex him for a player we want eg Snjeider + cash so the deal actually works for us. I am starting to think that he may actually stay as he can see what the next few years are to hold for Man City and the opportunities for our captain to get his hands on silverware. There isnt many other places he could go now that would look a better propersition. FA cup winner, champions league football and being a serious contender in it, captain, massive salary, more world class "mind blowing" signings to come, realistic chance of lifting the premier league who else can offer him that? If he isnt happy with all that then FUCK HIM he's not fit to wear the shirt the JUDAS bastard we'll find someone to fill his shoes i'm sure we wont be short of takers for the vacancy
