26 Years

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The knowledge that there would be better days sustained me through the toughest days over a similar period. Here I am knowing that there're going to be more days like this.

I am so fucking happy tonight!

You and me are similar - I can probably claim about 1968 as I went to some matches with a neighbour - but 1973 I was 16 and at every game home and away under my own steam - means I then had decades of disappoinmtnet - but good (sort of) times

I think I'm still in shock and the fact we've won thee Cup hasn't quite sunk in yet. I just feel, well, a little numb.

Thanks to each and everyone of you. Thanks to the team. But first and foremost thanks to EVERY SINGLE Blue on this planet. This is for all of you. We made it!

I became 'City daft' in 1956 when I was nine.

The events of this week have been a long, long time in coming but (to paraphrase the great Malcom Allison) now that they have, we're going to go on from this and terrify the rest of the football world.

The dam has burst and nothing can stop us now.

Been a City fan for over 10 years now, and one of the overriding emotions of the day is how happy I am for all the Blues who have been there suffering for much longer than me. You lot make me proud to be a Blue, and I know that today wouldn't have been possible had you not stuck with the club through the all the shit.

Tie another one on for me tonight. WE ARE CITY SUPER CITY.

Mate I'm 27 years old.

I've lived in Gorton then Reddish now when I've moved out of my parents the City Centre.

I've been here in Mancland all my life, but not once have any of my friends (who are all reds) taken the piss. They realise they are on another stratosphere, They are genuinely embarrassed about that banner at OT.

Fuck em all./ Today is our day.,

I have had a shitty time for some years. But today I have had the pleasure of watching my team, the team I last saw win something in 1976, win the FA Cup. I watched it with my son.
The son I have told on numerous occasions what it was like for City to win a cup.
The son who has been patient.
The son who has believed.

I have not been on this site for some time. Personal reasons. But today I just had to express my respect and love for the fans who were there today. You are magnificent and justly deserving.

Am a mere 43 year supporter I can remember City winning things before but can't remember it feeling this good!
Am genuinely pleased for all the fans who have never seen us win a trophy
stick around...there's plenty more where that came from!
I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days....before you've actually left them...

YIKES!

We need to win these cups more often to see true legends like you visit the site. Come on mate.... please stay around.... you have been SORELY missed.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
