If he told him before the final didn't Carlos himself come out afterwards and say he still wasn't sure? Until Carlos says it I am holding off the celebrations.

And his wave to the crowd when he got subbed looked a little ominous to me...

Really, really need him to stay to push on next season.

Winning cup finals change people's attitudes - I wouldn't underestimate the power the FA Cup holds over Carlos - as captain and main figurehead of the club he has everything he needs here now. Fingers and toes crossed he'll stay!!

PS: Tonight was the first game in a long, long time Tevez was unselfish and very much a team player passing the ball quickly to teammates and moving into space rather than doing it all himself. I was mighty impressed by his new attitude and it helped the team in the final third immensely.

Knowing how fickle our Carl can be, I won't believe he's staying until he shows up for the first game in August, and even then I'll have my doubts.

From where I was sat he looked to pretty much wave goodbye to us as he was being substituted. I'd go off his body language rather than what someone else says.

Now I thought it was an unexpectedly understated exit from him. Same as other days he's scored a bit. Besides he'll be doing next Monday wont he?

All I know is I saw Silva go off and clap the Colin Bell Stand in front of him. Mad Zab went off and booted the advertising boards. Carlos went off and made a point of clapping and waving every stand.

Could be, but I wouldn't read too much into it. He scored two sublime goals in a MOTM performance. I'm sure he clapped every stand, because every single blue was on his/her feet giving him a proper round of applause.

Mancini touched his nose when he said that Carlos told him before cup final that he wanted to stay. Doesn't that indicate he is lying? Not factual I know lol. Maybe I'll leave the detective work for someone else.

I have to admit that I have no idea what you're on about mate.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Dunno, read somewhere that if you touch your nose it is more likely you are lying. I do it loads coz I lie all the fuckin time. I might even be lying now but you can't see my nose so you'll never know hahahahaahaha

Hahaha

I'm not convinced by all this 'Carlos wants to stay' stuff either. If if he'd rather stay, circumstances might mean he can't. I'm thinking him still playing for us next Christmas might make me believe he was staying.

Re Mancio touching his nose, if you apply the body-language-giveaway thing, Harry Redknapp looks like he must be lying every time he speaks, and when he isn't speaking, he's thinking up more lies. So there might be something in it.

We demand 9 carat solid gold these days buddy - you might be able to change the inserts and flog them down the road in Sretford though - they like allsorts there, even tramps.
