The spine really has been exceptional all year - Hart, Vinnie, De Jong, Toure and Tevez. Any of them arguably deserve it... but I'd say due to the amount of games won by his individual brilliance for me it has to be Sir Carlos of Tevez!

silva for me. gets better and more intelligent with every passing game. there is no doubt of kompany's unsung (by anyone outside city) class, i'm just more of an attacking man and appreciate how hard it is to unlock premier league defences, which silva seems to do with ease. if he learns to finish next year he is going to be one of the world's best players.
