Kenwyne Jones at Wembley.

Not the most photogenic save, but he was big, quick, alert, and surprised big bad Kenwyne to the extent that he couldn't get a proper connection on the ball.

We're getting to the point where sides only get one chance per game against us. We totally stubbed out the Stoke threat from that moment on and it carried over to the Tuesday match.

I would say that`s the most important one but the one fron defoe first game of the season. As it was the first game I would imagine he was also a bit rusty.

The one at Wembers when Berbaflop was one on one. It would have been a totally different game had he not made that save.

I agree with this and the one Vs Spuds last week, he was going the wrong way and his weight was all on the wrong side but he still managed to get back across and keep it out of the danger zone.

What has impressed me with Joe is the way he has dusted himself down when he has made errors and got on with the job in hand. As as GK it's how you bounce back from errors, iv seen other keepers in the past struggle to get over errors but not our Joe he has worked harder and put in some top performances afterwards.

Look at the Everton game he made an error for the 1st but has kept 3 clean sheets since. I heard him making references to the Everton game and how is wasnt happy, what better way to bounce back with clean sheets and top class displays.

Saturday for me defined him a top class keeper, nothing much to do for 70mins and then bam called upon and keeps us in the game with a great save. GK is not just about great saves it's also about being able to be switched on for the whole 90 mins something the likes of David James has stuggled to do.

Well done Joe on a top season.

V Spurs, from Dick Van Dyke's header, that was a goal from where I was sat.

It was so crucial too. Had that gone in, we would have lost imo, as Spurs would have stepped up a gear & then, under huge pressure, we would probably have bottled the cup final. Turning point of the season & end of 'typical City' .

Any of his early season saves. He got his chance and HAD to make the starting job his own with Shay breathing on his neck. He did it.

I have to say that I was one of the people who thought Given should've started the season. I was dead wrong and I'm going to admit it now.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

1st game of the season for me. He had it all to prove and Shay was watching on from the sideline. Spurs were frantic, peppering Joe with shot after shot. It set the the tone for the rest of the season and cemented Joe's place as our preferred number one. Sky's cameras focused on Shay and the commentator suggested that he'd just said to his colleague "that's me out for the season".... how right he was...

1st game of the season against spurs. cant remeber who had the shot (huddlestone maybe) from about 25 yards. at full stretch he tipped it over the bar. he was fantastic that day, spurs murdered us.

Doesn't make it the best save though. Good save but Berbatov really should of scored.

Sorry I thought the question read: "Whats YOUR joe hart save of the season?"
I thought it meant my personal opinion on which save . Sorry must have read it wrong. I didn't read the bit where it said "What was his BEST save".

I thought that was one of the best saves anyway. Not one for the cameras, but excellent decisive goalkeeping.

People are always gonna go for the tip-overs from 25-yard flyers, but all Premier League goalkeepers should be able to do that from time to time. What's really impressive, and has really come on since we last saw him two and a half seasons ago, is his decision making.

Without doubt the one at home to Spurs. Just based on the quality of the save. Incredible reactions.
