"I also gave my everything for the club to receive the results it has had. But I need a change of scene."

On where he might end up, Tevez added: "To go back to Boca Juniors would be beautiful but it is very difficult.

"But if we're speaking seriously, financial issues would make my return difficult."

I think this is settled. He is not going to stay. I still don't get how moving to Italy would help him being closer to his kids though. Also, it's fairly remarkable that he has been in England for over five years and still doesn't speak much English at all. Must be thick as pig shit really.

Lets deal with him get him out with no dramas asap and move on, this is so shit less than a week after we win the cup if it is true and I think it is Fuck him he is rude.

He might well have said this....be interested to hear actually WHEN he gave the interview.

It doesn't really change anything in my view, it was going to be a big ask to come up with something to convince Carlos to stay (in light of his given reasons for wanting out) and that still stands.

Equally, if he is to leave then someone has to come up with enough of the goods to persuade us to do business. Most clubs who have potentially got the resources to do so also have a player or two we'd be interested in as part of that deal:

Real Madrid - Kaka
Barca - Xavi
Inter - Sneijder

I'm still pretty relaxed if I'm honest, as I've said before though he is nigh on impossible to replace so we should do everything possible to be flexible and find something that works for the club and for him

According to Tim Vicary, South American football journo it was done on Wed, his understanding is he joins Inter Milan or Real Madrid just upto the clubs to do the deal. For me thanks you have been great, maybe the 3rd party ownership is live and kicking and just maybe we are better to say adios ASAP. Great player as good as I have ever seen in a blue shirt, but never gonna be longer than the 2 years or so.

I'm sure it's more likely Tevez wants to leave but I don't trust this story one bit.

If he does go, it can only be for a lot of money, even City won't let this go through on the cheap. So who can realistically afford him ? Can any of the Italian clubs afford £50 mil on one player, plus his wages ? AC Milan have been dealing mainly in loans & then scrabbling the pennies together. It would have to be a swap deal but who could they swap? Inter & a swap with Sneijder is the only realistic deal in Italy. Then we have Spain. Would Barca want to spend another £50 mil at this time ? Do they need to ?

Surely it's got to be either either Inter or Real Madrid ? But if they don't want or can't afford him, he has to stay, whether he likes it or not, as there's nowhere for him to go.

As Taggart, said to the rags fans on his megastar 7, we could be squeezing another season and another season which is crap, if they want to go, you have to say ok on our terms at our valuation. Then you go away have coffe and think beyond the player and go again, no goodbyes get them out of the club and go again, I think he is right lets move on sharpish.

if true its massively disappointing. the club seems to have done all it can for him to see his family. move them somehwere closer in europe you thick twat rather than having to travel to argentina!

but what a fucking great player he has been, love watching him play. just a shame he never fell in love with the club. i look forward to seeing how we move on.

Strange that this story is nowhere else on the net, or on any Argentinian stations. Even more strange is that Carlos phoned up an Argentine Radio Station from the UK to give such a story whilst the club had no wind of it al all. I'm pretty certain that someone would've warned Mancini prior to him making himself look a chump on national TV.

Seems to me that idol hands are at work here.

Of course, if it's true we get rid immediately but not for any less than his value. If we don't get the value, he stays, even if he's fat & depressed/suicidal & useless as a player, he stays or others can take the piss whenever they want & just walk out for nothing (to those bent cunts at AC Milan or Juve no doubt).

Yes Tevez will be hard or impossible to replace but I don't think in the end it matters much. Maybe Mancini will have to change his approach now in terms of how he sets the team up, as mentioned, hopefully we will see more width and pace injected into the side now.

Hopefully we can cash in on Tevez big time as well, would be great regarding the FFPR.

I wonder if we can get rid of him on a season long loan whilst still paying his wages, then let him go for fuck all as no-one can afford his wages? We could even give Kia a payment for him signing that agreement!

As far as I know, Tevez wouldn't have counted against us in the books but his replacement (s) will, so it'll be a disaster re FFPR. It may also cost at least as much to replace him, probably more, as the selling clubs know we are desperate & will hold us to ransom. We will either have to use him as part of a mega-deal or sign an inferior player for similar money/wages.

Neens sorting one way or the other and soon.

We've had our best week in terms of results and achievements in a long long time and whilst this hasn't taken the gloss off it for me or any other blues I imagine, the fact is we're talking about it, the press are talking about it and our manager is having to talk about it.

Needs put to bed either way in the next couple of weeks. He's a magnificent footballer but I'm sick to the back teeth of talking about him in this context and it needs to come to an end one way or the other.

The fact we are talking about it probably says more about us than anything else. A crap paper puts out an absolute bullshit story with no link to the supposed interview itself yet some go with the assumption that it is true. I doesn't take much to have a mooch around and find that even the Radio Station haven't got anything about it, and considering the profile Carlos has in his home country, this would be a major, major story back home.

It does strike of a desperate attempt to distabilise us prior to the weekends fixtures where we still have everything to play for. Why would a player even consider a thing prior to a major game for the club? It's not hard to guess that Kia has a hand in this and for me, he has now done his client a massive disservice by bringing his loyalty and integrity into question.

Who'll win the power struggle though?

Does Carlos Tevez have zero respect for the people at Man City? Man the fuck up, tell the truth and make a decsion. He has already ruined 3 days of my holiday in December with his childish antics. Why all the fucking games. We have just had the greatest week of many of our lives and this lying little twat is slowly but surely trying to ruin my buzz. Why are footballers such wankers?

That's the problem now; we don't know if we can ever believe anything any media says about us. Although they try to deny it, they all have loyalties to clubs & they also have connections/friends in other clubs. For every one journo that's sympathetic to us, there are 100 who are unsympathetic & 10-20 who are actively hostile.

We used to just have the rag media indulging in the occasional wind up, like when they put our lowest crowd on the back page & compared us with the glorious rags, but now we are a threat & have to be slapped down, not just by rags but by Arsenal, Chelsea, scousers & even one or two jealous geordies (Bob Cass & Sean Custis are always on our case). The bias & jealousy is real & we don't have the numbers of friendly journos to fight back with & plant stories like the traditional 'big 4' do.

Amen.

Stay if you want to stay, brilliant. Go if you need to go and let us move forward.

I just fear this will drag on until august and then he fucks off and doesn't leave us enough time to find replacement. Thing is, we need to sell him early if we are going to sell. Making deals for the calibre of player that could be his replacement takes months and months and we need to start doing the deal NOW.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
