Beefymcfc wrote:Funny as fuck. The papers print a story and City refute it before it can even get going (probably because we don't want to upset Real) yet the media journo on SSN says that he has to defend the journo's who wrote it because they are respected and reputable people. He then goes on to try and tell us the story has some kind of truth to it and that it maybe some sort of smoke screen. Even better was when he showed the paper running it which showed the Carlos story underneath it, which says it all for me.

You'd probably say that they really couldn't make that shit up; but they did.

Saw that - he said reputable jounalists like....Shaun Custis!!! I turned the gobshite off after that.

Fuck

Real Madrid have told Manchester City they can buy Cristiano Ronaldo - for £150 MILLION!

The Sun says Real want to sell Ronaldo to Manchester City for a staggering £150million.

The Spanish giants know City are the only club who could afford the world-record fee.

And despite denials coming from Eastlands about any move for former United superstar Ron, Spanish sources claim the Blues ARE talking to Real about a possible deal.

The fee will even make billionaires City wince but it would be an astonishing move were Ronaldo to return to the North West where he was such a hero at Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans would be furious if he were to do a Carlos Tevez and sign up with the enemy.

Apart from the whopping transfer fee, Ronaldo is looking for wages of £300,000 A WEEK and a five-year deal which would bring the total cost to a mind-boggling £228m.

Silly season has officially got under way.

Intersting theory and might be true as well.

Shame it's not Mezul as he is the missing piece in our puzzle. Benzema would be nice as well and is possibility. As would be Higuain, although I feel he would be boom or bust in England depending who he'd settle. I just FEAR it would be either Diarra or Gaco.

Oh, and before anyone says it, Kaka can suck my balls.

no chance we would get ozil. benzema imo would be a perfect replacement for tevez. i think he would take to the prem with ease.

The only reason they wouldn't want him is if they took our feelings into consideration. Would they really do that? If they had in the past, Bellamy wouldn't have gone to Cardiff.

What other possible reason would there be to not sign Ronaldo ? We'd challenge for everything & the club's profile would go through the roof; all of their objectives. FFP ? Don't make me laugh, they could arrange an extra sponsorship to pay for him purely on the strength of him signing. If Real want Tevez, it knocks a fair bit off the price anyway.

If Ronaldo wants to stay at Real, then this is total bullshit & he stays. If it's true he wants to leave however, we will be trying to sign him, without a shadow of a doubt.

As much as I don't want Tranaldo or any other ex-rag, I fully agree with all of that. Besides, they already tested the water with Tevez and that went down well with majority of supporters.

Tranaldo, alongside Messi and Beckscum of yesteryear, are financially different kettle of fish to just about anyone else in football world. It's not just "we throw 100 million at them" or whatever. They bring back majority of that money through marketing, short sales and shit. They are the kind of players who have fans of their own who spend millions on merchandise and follow them where ever they go. Do I think it's right? FUCK NO. But that's the way it is from marketing point of view.

Also, you can not argue with Tranaldo's laughable video game numbers. Same as Messi. They are just different level to anyone else this time and age and even I, bitterest of bitters, can't argue with that.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

NO.FUCKING.WAY.

But I'm dead against any former rags playing for us. And yes, that included Tevez when we signed him and I was never stupid enough to trust him (and he has done brilliant job for us, don't get me wrong). I can't just go from calling someone Herman Munsterhead or Tranaldo Ladyboy to hailing them as Blue heroes. But that's just me.

But way things are going and the relative ease half of the people backed Hughes (despite him doing average job) and 95% Tevez (I can understand this, he has been super top class for us), I'm sure Marwood and Khaldoon would have no hesitation going for Tranaldo without fearing too much what supporters would think. And like I said, he puts up amazing numbers and I've learned my lesson, 95% of people would be cheering him and inventing new songs for him after about a month.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

That's how it would have to go or the club would fail. The club is more important than personal likes/dislikes. I would just abstain & let others sing, as I would if we'd signed Rooney or Torres.
