KHALDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

KHALDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Postby Goataldo » Sat May 21, 2011 6:14 pm

Just watched the interview with our chariman on the OS. You HAVE to watch it.

THe bloke is immaculate in every respect; he says all the right things uber-eloquently; never puts a foot wrong; and with a sense of humour to boot! I love the the way he referred to City as a 'total football house', and listening to him eulogise about the players when asked for a player of the season, was a joy. Smart, articulate, urbane, busniness savvy like you wouldn't believe, passionate and knowledgable about City and football - I bloody love this guy.

What a geezer. The many bitter rivals of ours who try and goad us, saying we've sold our soul, or claiming we're merely the current plaything of a billionare sugar-daddy, would to well to watch this, and choke on their own bile.

Sounds like he learnt English in America though, all he needs is a few Manc lessons and he'd actually be too perfect.

Ha, funny you should say that mate, but when I looked at 'bit where you click to c&p a link' it just said www.mcfc.co.uk rather than having some significant suffix. So I didn't bother.

Did say it was on teh OS though, so hopefully it shouldn't be hard to find. It's a good 15 minswth too. Bloody brilliant.

My lappy been acting a bit stroppy lately though, I'll give it another look, linkwise...

Good stuff, also enjoyed Shaun Goater's interview with Ian Cheeseman on Radio Manchester, link via Bluemoon on a thread called "Hear the Goat." It's nearly an hour long including local weather and traffic reports about delays on the M62 so made me feel quite homesick even though I was just back. He talks about growing up in Bermuda, his time at MUFC then Rotherham, English winters, and lots of happy City memories.

I recently finished reading his autobiography, good book, and the beautiful man truly loves this club. Legend. My dad met him before the Cup Final; I was well jealous, but happy enough with clasping Rosler's heid and whispering sweet nothings into his lugholes at The Green Man.

Thanks for highlighting this interview. Great interview, and a good insight into our owners mindset. Loved the part about the Poznan. :)

Khaldoon is a fucking legend, I just like the guy, the way he conducts himself demands respect and I just love listening to him talk sense.

I bet the people that know him wouldnt ever dare fuck with him though, he looks like he could turn round and destroy you with a click of the finger.

Sorry he said 'total house of football' rather than 'total football house'. Just indoctrinating my missus with it and noticed.

Deeeeecent.
