Given that the point we gained at the Emirates, meant that we did not lose 3, come this time tomorrow we will soon see whether Mancini's approach was right or wrong.

Once we have the sort of experience the rags have gained over the years in those pressure situations, maybe we could go there and lose too ;0)

I think he's spot on. But the way we play football has improved especially toward the end of the season. He is so right about playing for 0-0s against arsenal and united. That is not the right way to do things. Ever. If we play the way we have these last few weeks against every team, we'll be up there. If we play for scoreless goals against our title rivals, we won't be.

If winning the title was critical, then yes i'd agree. The reality is that we will learn to play those games differently in the future, but at the time, particularly against Arsenal (I thought we did ok at OT) like I said, the proof will be at 5.45 today if we finish ahead of Arsenal.

As I said earlier, I would have agreed after the way we set out our stall against scum at home, but that's not happened since. Both at the swamp and in the semi we just went for them. Away to arse, I don't think we went for a point, it was more of a case of finding them at their best and avoiding getting stuffed. If you remember, we weren't set up particularly defensively at the start, Mancini, had to pull the back four back after arse started constantly getting behind them.
Despite the Tevez comments, I still think it's an old rehashed quote.
