Agreed..no fukcing complaints from me....he delivered with a strong finish to the season.....Brilliant.

We've both stuck the boot in this season, but at times the players and Mancini deserved it. The last month has been magical, though.

Thanks to the goal (i.e. causing me to say his name out loud), my 19 month old son can now say Dzeko to go along with Yaya. Admittedly, it does sound like Jee-O rather than Jecko, but it still counts.

no doubt there won't be too many minutes highlights of our game shown tonight but I'm looking forward to every minute of it!

BBC stated before the game that if both ended at 20 goals it would be a shared prize.

Positively the worst game for me this season (not how we played, but in gutwrenching agonizing tension). I was pretty sure we would not go through to the groupstage if we ended at fourth and our defense today was wobbly as freakin' hell!

But, we made it and my stomach cramps are almost gone. I can finally breathe and almost start enjoying what has been a dream of a season. Some shaky parts in the middle but in a season where most top teams have dropped their performance by a notch we've gone up a notch. Thus we are deservedly at third spot.

Games like these where we let them have chance upon chance and the defense can never seem to clear the ball, even Joe Hart dropped the ball on an easy pick, makes me really appreciate the defensive calm Mancini has instilled in the team which means that most games we are solid as a rock in defense and control the game beautifully. I don't think I would have survived a season-ending if we played as shaky as today and were in contention for third and a cup...

PHEW! WE FREAKING MADE IT! Bring on CL and a few top of the notch players.

The last time there was a number of players on the same goal tally it was 97/98 and 98/99. There were three players who shared the prize, Michael Owen having shared it twice.

It think that means we got ourselves a Golden Boot winner lads, to go along with our Golden Glove winner, not to mention our little cup win and finishing joint second on points with Chelsea.

A very very happy chappy indeed.

Fucking annoyed that the Scum got two celebrations for the League title. Last Saturday should have been exclusively set aside for us as Cup winners.

Well it doesn't get better than this: FA Cup winners, 3rd in the league (one more point and we wud have been 2nd -getting greedy here !), but best of all we had a strong finish with the players really coming together and playing like a team. Dzeko scored twice so he wont be under pressure at the start of the new season and will come out firing. Balo played a great match in his last outing and showed a lot of constraint which we will need in the new season. Well done Bobby, well done lads.
And fuck yeah, I'm happy !!

My heart skipped a beat when I heard Boyata was starting; although for the most part it looks like he has looked to be getting over his Gooner game red card, I thought it was just too important a game to risk him.
Of course he might have played well and it may have been others who were the more shaky but until he gets a few full games under his belt, where the 3 points weren't so critical, it will always be something of a worry.

I know what you mean, but to be honest, I didn't even notice there were other football matches even played last week. Regardless of who else is playing, if City are on, that's the only thing to worry about.

Hopefully last Saturday will be the first of many cup finals!

Just got back
Had to sit with them horrible inbred bastards, they are pig thick and one of them in front of me was confessing that he loved the scum as well.

Anyway back to the game
Great saves by Joe and apart from that we were in total control.
Very good performance again.
We have the makings of a very very good side.
