Typical City -- we earned passage to the CL Group Stages automagically with an accidental header the player never even saw til it was in the back of the net.

cheers

Proof that going for the win & losing occasionally, as we've done in pretty much all those games, is better than playing not to lose.

True....realistically that record should/could have easily been P9 W8 L1....Everton was an aberration of a result

Amid the euphoria of winning the FA Cup and finishing higher than the target that had been set for us...I am also quietly fuclin fuming.
We have been more successful than for many years but it could all have been so fucling different. Equal points with Chelsea and so many silly fuclin points dropped. We could have so easily have won this fuclin league. The way the rags opened the door and no other team was able to walk through it...Next years target....LEAGUE CHAMPIONS....WE CAN DO IT.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Absolutely. They looked like a real team in the latter stages. a couple of quality additions in the right places and we could have a real challenge.

To paraphrase the world's most famous Hammer: Yes, you can.

And, for some reason, as much as I expect your neighbours to be in the reckoning, I think one of the closest challengers won't be Chelsea or Arsenal, but Liverpool.

Yeah! Another diseased piece of meet we can carve off. Even if we have a bad season in the future
we can say, 'Hey! Remember the FA Cup and CL placing?" Immediate confidence!

I'm not discarding typical city, I'm just going to file it away next to the phrase 'do you remember when...'. So when we're winning all these trophies I don't forget just how bad it used to be, so victory tastes sweet forever more!

Typical City has made us into the fans and club we are today - a sense of humour, hunger for success and an adiction to fun!

Of course in the past we had to make our own fun, now the players are chipping in!

Die you bastid.....

City win against the scum in the semi, but go on to tank the final.
City miss out on 4th by goal difference.
Given the opportunity to clinch 3rd, City let 3 goals in added time to blow it.

If no-one drops the FA Cup under the wheel of the bus, typical City shit is a corpse.
