Bllimey - if he's not allowed to train he's going to need something to keep the weight off.

In a sweat suit.

But really, I think he's been done over. The lad who took the same thing up in Scotland only got 1 month yet Kolo gets 6 months. And no football related activity is a scandalous regulation as in terms of his job it means he can't even touch a ball, in his back garden!

Made me piss myself reading that. What if he fancies kickabout with his kids in local park. Are there coppers always tailing him? What about if he wants to see his brother play? Or watch football on telly?

No post-match pints in Townley for Kolo then.

I honestly don't understand how someone could be banned for training unpaid? It's not bloody criminal court that made the decision. It's a free country.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Top news, I expected a longer ban. He really got away with it, as well as he might just saved his career.

Exactly mate, where does the term end?

They're full of shit. The world revolves around footall in many areas and it'd take a Gastapo like regime to keep him in check. Wankers!

Obviously the Regulation 32 bit is employment law related & the word 'activity' should be understood in said context.

Best result we could have hoped for. With Kolo back in Sept, and assuming Boateng is still on board as he's really a Centre Half anyway, it means we don't have to go and waste money on a lamppost like Gary Cahill.

I'm no expert, but I'd have thought all of Man City's facilities would count as 'the work place' ? - maybe he can train with another club in the area? (or even the Sheikh's other club - the heat might make him shift a few kilos)

There are hundreds, in fact thousands of places he could go to train. If he's dedicated enough, he'll be fitter when he comes back than the secret pie munching fatty he obviously was before he was banned.
