On a related note, I love the sweary interview with both Mario and Micah. Micah has really grown on me as a player and a character this season and I don't see how anyone could dislike Mario's character, he just seems very very likeable

However..... I fucking LOVE the clip of Roberto celebrating here at the final whistle....2 mins 6 seconds into this

Or we could use him to get us the treble

Even more epic for me as when it zooms in on him, I can see myself clearly at the front of the top tier on my HD tv. Priceless

Quote:
The parents of Mario Balotelli are moving to England - and insisting the Manchester City striker move in with them.

The Italian striker is leaving his Manchester city centre penthouse for a plush pad in the sticks.

And his parents Franco and Silvia will be staying to help him settle in and hopefully save him some cash by cooking a few hot dinners, says The Sun.

Mario has racked up a huge collection of parking tickets by leaving his Maserati outside his favourite restaurant, San Carlo - even though it's walking distance from his flat.

A source said: "Mario has had enough of the penthouse and wants to live somewhere bigger out of the city.

"His beloved dog Lucky will have plenty of space to run around and it will be easier for Mario to take him on walks.

"His folks are keen to help him out with the move and ensure he is OK.

"But he might have to behave himself now they'll be under the same roof."

That's really good news both for us and for Mario. He needs his family round him, he needs the calming influence and if it makes him feel more settled, more at home then that's a big plus for us

Good news.....although not for the profits at San Carlo!

I meant to post this the other day, from f365's end of season awards

http://www.football365.com/story/0,1703 ... 34,00.html

The F365 End Of Season Awards

It's time to dust of the old tux, get boozy, plaster on a fake smile and join us for the gala event of the season. Just don't fight us if we tell you we're too tired to sign an autograph. We're fragile...

Moment of the season: Chiek Tiote's equaliser for Newcastle against Arsenal. Magnificent.

Player of the season: Luka Modric. Special mentions go to Vincent Kompany, Nemanja Vidic and Carlos Tevez.

Our favourite player of the season: Mario Balotelli. He's brilliant, awful or mental. Often in the same five minutes. We love him.

What, like when they were around him when he was back in Italy?

I don't think his parents will make much difference mate, and if he was like this before it's only going to make him an even more spoilt person. It's going to be all down to Mario to do some growing up, having his parents there just allows more spoilt behaviour I reckon.

really?

fuck me Beefers....I don't know what life was like for you as a child but I have to say that when Old Mother London is around (even today) my behaviour is SIGNIFICANTLY moderated and I am much less likely to get into any bother.

Maybe you were spoiled rotten but my parental unit certainly believed more in the old tough love approach, and I'd suspect the same may be true chez Balotelli

I think Beefy's point is well made mate, Mario had a much worse reputation when he was living in Italy! I have to say that I don't think I have ever seen such a dramatic change in a player from his sending off in the Waffa cup to his cup final display, turned into a team player and fought for the cause. Still got a long way to go, as even he admits, but could be a legend here if he continues to apply himself.

I don't think it is at all if I'm honest (no disrespect Beefy)

He wont have been living with his parents in Italy will he, plus he will have had his full entourage of mates, birds and hangers on around him and was comfortable that he could play up.

Here things are very different, he's in a strange country and has already had to grow up fast. I think that having his folks here can only help him stabilise parts of his life even further and help him improve. I cannot remotely see his parents being the type to indulge him being a dick, esp not if they live with him.

Did you lot grow up as indulged feral children where your parents let you do what you wanted or something? I'm shocked ;-)
