I don't get this Silva-Modric comparison at all..it's a myth

Aside from stature they are completely different players and would compliment each other in the team in the same way as say Xavi and Iniesta do

And i don't get the City- Barca comparison, even if it's difficult to compare player attributes, you have to ackowledge that We have a formation, our players have roles to play and it's different setup from the best team in the world. I really can't see how Modric is more like Barry than Silva but it's a matter of perception ispose. Tbh, if i had to choose one of Silva/ Modric for Barry's position, I'd choose Silva. Cheers

Modric got three goals and three assists in the league last season.

His defensive works impressed me every time I've seen him but like NQDP said, would challenge Barry more than Silva in our line up.

It's still rubbish, though.

It will be kept alive until transfer deadline day, so we can mercilessly rip into paulh for a couple of days, before giving him a lifetime ban. If Modric does come to us, it will be locked immediately, and replaced by a thread on what Gary Neville's up to at the moment.
