Really looking forward to this. England/Spain tonight should be a cracker.

Sling your thoughts in here, especially if you've got tips for any players to look out for.

England fixtures:

vs. Spain: Sunday 12th, 19:45 BST.

vs. Ukraine: Wednesday 15th, 19:45 BST.

vs. Czech Republic: Sunday 19th, 1945 BST.

what time is the kick off mate?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Ukraine 1-2 Czech Rep.

Ukraine have just scored a lovely breakaway goal. Three minutes left.

EDIT: 1-2 full-time. Only caught the last 10 but it was a lightning fast game by the look of it. All Ukraine for the bit I saw and they created a few good chances but couldn't quite nick a second.

Kieran Trippier was in the provisional squad but didn't make the tournament squad, so no City involvement.

England 0-1 Spain

Shit tap-in from a corner. Javi Martínez headed it down and Herrera nodded it in past a useless Cleverley at the far post.

Phil Jones has hit two shockingly crap 40-yard balls from the half-way line already. Wellbeck and Sturridge up-front. How fucking obvious is it that they're going to want the ball played in front on the deck?

Sort it out, Pearce.

It's funny the kind of impression you can get from snippets. Ukraine looked like a quality attacking side for the last 10 or so. That late goal was followed by two or three decent chances.

You never know, Thiago could turn out to be the next Xavi... or the next de la Pena.

Spain lacking the killer instinct to shut this game. Tbf the english back four were very good, especially Walker & Smalling, the midfield nonexistent however.
England will never be able to control a game with players like Rose, who can run & whack the ball a bit, but can't play a simple pass.

I thought this was going to be on Eurosport like it has always been. They only have highlights. Bollox.

Is eurosport a euro channel? I know the name might give it away but what we get on eurosport here do you get there?

The local stations (uk, france, poland, germany, scandinavia etc) differ in their programme.

Differ slightly. Most of the programming is identical, although they have commentary in various languages.

I've always assumed so. Like Nooly said, I think it's just difference in commentary. And what we get here 95% of times it's definitely British commentary.

I also get Eurosport 2 that shows German Bundesleague.

Notice Mata grew into the game and ended up pulling the strings in midfield

I think there's quite a difference. Obviously, the major spectacles, Le Mans over the weekend for instance, are shown everywhere, but Eurosport France & Germany covered the full England game, whereas the others didn't. And there's loads of Champions League football on Romanian Eurosport, but none in the UK/France/Germany/etc, where the exclusive rights are much more expensive.
