We'll have to get the West Oz 'crew' together, which unfortunately is only me and xavi.

Atilio Lombardo has told La Tercera that City are very confident of signing Sanchez, according to elmundodeportivo 3 hours ago.

Has he signed yet?

If he does end up at City after all this piss and wind, he better be bloody good and not the second coming of Nery Castillo!

Wasn't this the same guy who said we weren't interested in him and instead we wanted any number of Napoli forwards?

svensational could have scored half of those goals. MarkMak the other half.

i'll believe it when he's getting raped at the corner flag by a pile of [strike]sky[/strike] cambridge blue fuclers after a showboat extravaganza that would make the Tranny gay for him.

It certainly was. It's getting to the stage where you don't know who to believe when even club staff (if the quotes are true) are contradicting themselves

I wonder what will be the headlines if Sanchez signs? Will it be:

'Sanchez snubs Barca and the Scum for the Mighty Blues'?

or:

'City ruining football again with their ridiculous spending'?

I wonder (strokes chin repeatedly)?

It will be something about him choosing money over football/history/etc etc.

The term "mercenary" will be used at least once in every article regarding the matter. Fact.

I hope they say all that if we get him.

I was just thinking back to the Dave Silva signing and on how he was announced during the WC last year. I though back then that we were using it as a PR stunt buying one of the Spanish players who eventually went on to win it (I think we all knew he was ours well prior to the date announced).

I wonder if this is one of those same situations as he is due to play in the Copa America with their group beginning on the 4th of July; Independence Day. Well, we are doing a lot in the America's lately!
