So, gone by Monday morning then?

I don't know mate, Twitchy's been on as well backing up Levy's words, without mentioning the words 'Blow us out of the water'. I'm inclined to think that they really want to push for the top again rather than do anyone a favour.

Player power will win, always does.

Modric wants to go and will go.

Most probable, but he won't be going for 22 million, that's for sure. If they can pay 50 mil for Torres in a slump then I'm sure Spurs will be holding out for far nearer that amount for their best player. Chelsea have made a rod for their own back.

Didn't they put a 22 million bid in for Jones as well?!? How many sets of wheels would all that lot be.

'King' Kenny was one of the original 'ruiners of football' when at Blackburn so it shouldn't come as a surprise that he's spending fortunes now.

Steady on Ted; even though I love the sentiments you're expressing, there would be a definite danger of this causing Twitcher to blow a gasket.

His cockney barrow-boy accent seems to have already deepened appreciably this week and he's perpetually in the media eye whining and whingeing like there's going to be no tomorrow. To a layman like me, he seems to be exhibiting all the signs of being under extreme stress and a candidate for the cardiac ward. He doesn't seem able to shut his 'norf an sarf' and...........

.........oh hang on a minute though; I've had time to ponder what you said and now I've changed my mind :- what a good idea it would be if we were to unsettle any of his star players further and if it means the old pains start up in his (loveable ??)cockney chest, well that's too bad, what goes around comes around.

I'm now a convert so, sound thinking Ted; I like your style.
