The FA Cup with Budweiser

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I dunno how many of you chumps went to the city game in baltimore, but if you missed the chance to try some Clipper City ale, you missed some great beer. Their pale ale and "loose cannon" IPA are really quite excellent.

American microbrew beer in general is pretty good and you shouldn't let your hatred of all things american blind you.

yes bud, miller ... all that big corporation stuff is shit. Yeungling is excellent for a cheap beer though. Also getting Natty Bo for $3.50 a pitcher is not a bad deal either, watch out the next morning though.

Dogfish Head
Rogue
Clipper City
Brookyln
Troegs
Sierra Nevada
Anchor

Those are some great microbrews/microbreweries and i would definitely recommend trying them if you get the chance

I second Rogue and Sierra Nevada. Sam Adams has some tasty beer as well.

i don't hate "all things american". just your beer. i lived in dc and FL for a year and all the beer tasted like piss, without exception. sorry an that. you drink piss, that's not my fault.

although, i have to say the micro breweries must've been well hidden.

Only one who knows his shizzle in this thread.

Let's hope not. Everywhere in town where they do budvar on tap it's knocking on for 4 quid. Fuck knows what it'd cost in the ground.

I'll save my high-end beer drinking for the back garden.

Is that a euphemism?
