Of course they aren't. Forgot they were knocked out in the qualifier. I obviously misheard or imagined it then!

They played a friendly a week back, and in that one he bagged two goals.

I take it Muamba once had some form of psychological fright when turning left as a youngster, because everytime he had the ball it was square and to the right hand side...an absolutely shocking player who fell to his knees when England scored. Obviously those square balls had worn away at the Czechs so much, he felt like he played a major part in the build up.

The rag CB duo made so many poor decisions on the ball tonight, from Smalling dwelling too long in possession to Jones charging head first down the pitch & kicking the ball to the oppo ala Neil Poynton/Nicky Reid, yet they got their cocks sucked for 90 mins by the commentators.

I'm sure they have potential to become decent players but if Micah had played he would have looked like fucking Superman compared to the pair of them.

Tbf though, imo those two plus Sturridge are the only players who really look anywhere near future England internationals (as Albrighton was on the fucking bench so they could play Tom wanking Cleverley!!!) so my question is; what is the point?

Instead of trying to win meaningless tournaments, why not single out the outstanding talents in each position at every age group from U17s up & put THEM in the U21's rather than capping Joe Average ? Let them lose 6-0 whatever, who fucking cares? Put the best talent in the team & let them develop & gain knowledge of international football & each other so they can step together into the full England team in the future.

And get a proper coach, coaching them.

People who say this also question in other topics "how people can know about certain player".

The games I've seen have been entertaining and you know that there are one or two future stars involved.

Although I agree with whoever said that sod giving caps for caps sake and get all the best U21 players regardless of age involved. Would make it more interesting for everyone concerned.

If you've followed this tournament just for that rubbish England team, with no City players involved at that, there must be sth wrong with you.

Do you care to add any references to this ludicrous post?

No one else has said it so again, where have I said how can people know about a player?

The games I've seen have been entertaining

Calm down mate. It wasn't directed to you as such.

Oh, and Spain will rule the football world for next ten years or so. Germany have some top top youngsters as well.

Oh yeah, and I was impressed with Iker Munian of Athletic Bilbao. Think we should look into signing him as one for the future. Maybe loan him back to Bilbao.

Javi Martínez getting a lot of plaudits today. We should have thrown a bid in months ago like I suggested!

Box-to-box for Bilbao. But probably the deepest midfielder for Spain's U21s, yes.
