I can understand your worry but troubling as it must seem, there is no need for anxiety.
Yawning is an extremely primitive reflex that we share with some other mammals. Its purpose is uncertain.
Certainly there is no way of learning how to yawn.
Although I appreciate this may be unhelpful advice, I would recommend positively trying not to be concerned about it.
Although this may be difficult, it is possible that your concern about this and possibly other worries are both making you feel as if you want to yawn and inhibiting the natural unconscious reflex at the same time.
By definition a reflex is something that does not require conscious effort or thought.

I hope this reply helps a little.

A plausible explanation, and the one that is taught in medical school, is that we yawn because oxygen levels in our lungs are low.

Sorry but Sanchez is now boring

Please make this ongoing daily saga stop before we all lose the will to live. Its now as tedious as the "Gareth Barry to Liverpool" one of a few years back.

Yes Sanchez is now officially boring.

Yawning ia far more interesting.

The actual reasons for doing so are quite unclear really as studies have shown that your theory may be incorrect as yawning may in fact reduce oxygen intake compared to normal respiration, not increase it.Another theory is that it's the bodys way of controlling brain temperature.

Can anyone shed any light on the situation, is anyone really ITK on the subject of yawning?

I also would like to know why i cant stop fucking yawning since i started typing about it.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_7009713,00.html

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has ruled out a summer swoop for Udinese's in-demand winger Alexis Sanchez.

The Chile international has emerged as one of the hottest properties in European football with a host of clubs all battling for his signature this summer.

City are understood to have tabled the highest bid for the 22-year-old - reported to be in the region of £30million - but Udinese value their prize asset at a staggering £44million.

Barcelona have rivalled the Eastlands outfit's interest in Sanchez and now Mancini has called time on his pursuit of the gifted wide man, despite holding positive initial talks with the player.

Mancini told Sky Italia: "I talked to Sanchez, he said he was willing to come to City.

"But after the last offer we are out of the race for the Chilean player."

More to follow...

Apparently Palermo (according to their chairman/owner) have also just accepted a 50 million euro (!) offer from a unknown bidder for Pastore.

Finally sky sports picked up the story from sky Italia, took them long enough.Really hope the saga is concluded now.

Pastore is certainly an interesting one, sounds good to me.Just can't get over the silly figures being quoted this summer.

The thing is, if you look at the transfer situation over the last two windows, you have Platini's new rules, then you have a bunch of old guard clubs who are in £100s of millions of debt, potentially spending shiploads of money & a club with no debt & infinite resources being potentially prevented from significantly outbidding them.

I just don't think the Sheikh is going to wear this long term. It's clearly bent & imo we'll test this in a big way in the future, either by spending the money & daring them to do something or coming up with ludicrous sponsorship deals & daring them to tell us it's against the rules.

Boo hoo... We havent signed a ludicrously over priced player.

Udinese are the ones who have lost out, Sanchez will not single handedly earn them £30m on the pitch and nobody else matched our bid.

No idea who we'll turn to. Gutted if i'm being honest - Sanchez was absolutely what we needed.

Mata is almost identical to Silva in every way. Not sure that having two small playmakers who like to play behind the striker in the same XI is a good thing - especially when you consider that Tevez likes to do that too. It'll be overkill. Neymar I just can't see happening. Pastore I can't see adapting to the premier league at all...would be excited if we signed him though. Just cautious.

I recon Pastore, Sanchez & quite a few others we may be talking to are all a gamble. The Premier League is a different proposition to almost any other & offers a unique set of different problems every week. Some will thrive, some will fail. No doubt we will buy the odd stinker for big money, just like Chelsea & Utd have done.

One player who looks absolutely ripe for the Prem league right now is Ageuro though. Similar qualities to Tevez & imo has gone up a level in the past year. I figured everyone would be after him but nobody seems to be strongly linked. Puzzled why.

Thing is with Aguero is that we have Tevez. I think Mancini wants to bring someone who can bring something a little different. I know some players are more of a risk than others - I do think Sanchez is more suited to the Premiership than Neymar/Pastore etc - he's faster, more direct, bullish, strong and would excel against the tactically naive English defenses. Shame really. ]

Still think Mancini will surprise us all and sign someone out of the blue.

I wonder who is the backup player for the Sanchez saga. My first guess would be Mata, but he is a left footie and Bob needs a right one.

I think we will sign Sanchez now ... once a manager claims they are not interested anymore usually means the opposite
