Transfer Window

Postby Niall Quinns Discopants » Fri Jul 01, 2011 5:44 am

opens today. Kind of waiting to see if we have some deals lined up.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You sure this thread is necessary?

I thought it was a good point. I mean after all the "will we, won't we" topics, we should see whether we have been working behind the curtains and are maybe going to unveil someone unexpected. Obviously judging by the responses, you are right.

P.s. While maybe not best thread out there, I've seen much worse.

I sometimes wish that football would disapear behind an iron curtain from the last day of the season till a week before it kicks off again.

All this pointless speculation, Ground hog day transfers like the Fabregas situation, Grown men getting excited about away shirts. Soon we will have people pulling their hair out at our second eleven losing in a pointless friendly. Jo will knock in a hatrick in the next game and we will all be talking about him getting another chance. Round and around it goes.

*Yawn* Wake me up when the season starts.

It's enough to drive me to watching cricket.

Copa America. try that on for size later tonight.

also, nothing wrong with tennis. it's a fun sport to watch when it's on its best. Like bowling, curling or darts when it's lacking tho.

We will most likely start to see some new players soon.
Mancini probably has some lined up and was waiting for the window to open.

"'we have 40 days to buy players who can help us improve"... He said that at the end of last season. I think it's been longer than 40 days though?
