Guys, chill out, there are always pre-season rants and arguments on here, and no one ever wins a forum fight, it just pisses both sides off and they go and take it out on someone or something else they can actually interact with. If this conversation was in real life, you'd have either sorted it out within 30 seconds, or smacked this shit out of each other until someone won. You can't do that on here, unless you challenge each other to a game of something online.

How about Bejewelled over MSN...........

I'm steering well clear. Leave me out of this.

I just don't know enough about Nasri to contribute either.

None of the players who are leaving are any good anyway, apparently. Even heard some deluded on shoutsport saying how they wouldn't miss Fabregas and how Wenger would sign some 14 year old who'd be even better. Not sure how that's going to keep them in the top four next season, but still...

Where?

Here (from tuttomercato):

found this on tuttomercato. Not seen it posted already. Its the whole interview...

Official - Mancini: "Lavezzi, Hamsik and Cavani I like, a little less Shepherd"
Who has struck you most in a game? "AC Milan first, then put Napoli and Udinese."

The coach of Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini gives us a sign with his hand and bring us to talk a little '. It is past one o'clock at night and the Leeward Coast of local history which has resisted all invasions briatoriane, dinner is almost over. The players have arrived even if Macheda Aquilani and are quieter and the table is a reminder of imperial Pancaro. Non-compliance and smiles. His wife, Federica, winner of 'tan 2011' dancing with Barbara Marcolin. It's time to talk a little 'calcium and how it changed the life of La Mancha, whose class, inside and out, remains intact: "It's changed because it begins July 5. The holidays are now over, I remember those 3 years ago when I was without a club: I had 3 months and were beautiful. Apart from anything else, has changed a little 'how to live football. "

How to live the new role of DIManager City? "First of all I am constantly on the field. Still, I like, are more responsible, participate actively in the life of the club and lead the negotiations for players. I speak with attorneys and managers, in short, I follow in person. Then, when you go to close, involved more people who follow the administrative side. Of course, I'm making up, is a new thing, but there is no one above me, I work at a big club with a remarkable property. "

Neither Mr. Williams should weed out the redundancies? "I do not know who Mr. Williams." Ilmodo How has the experience football outside of Italy? "Football is still the same, but after 30 years of experience to Italy 'abroad, which enriches me so much, we wanted to. The Premier is the best. We are fine, even as a family, the climate, maybe not the best. "

Nostalgia? "As I said, no, because I spent 30 years in Italy." What comes from Italy? "Sometimes the tortellini, which I love, and the pesto."

How would you rate the choice of the new coach of Inter Gasperini? "It's a good coach, I appreciate it. Then we must see how the season will go. I follow Italian football and much more, I watch many games on TV, of all teams. "

Who has struck you most in a game? "AC Milan first, then put Napoli Udinese."

Sanchez followed, then said to stop the negotiations for the cost too high. Who do you like our league than him and Lavezzi, which she enjoyed more than once? "I like Lavezzi, Hamsik but Cavani. Shepherd a little 'less. Then, when I think of Udinese, I can think of Armero and Isla and I must say Christmas. A pity that it is now getting on in years, but it is a sample. I also liked Nainggolan of Cagliari. Of course I did not mention the Inter boys for whom I have a weakness. I think they are the ones I have coached great players. "

He has forgotten that it is a day care: Cerci of Fiorentina. "It's good, he did well, especially in the final championship. Yes, I like, I treated it, but still is not the City. "

Who is already in the City? "Savic, I would say that he has been taken."

And Nasri? "No, not yet."

Giuseppe Rossi also are interested? "For the moment we have not treated."

Let's talk 'and its cominciamoda Balotelli this summer, apart from the episode of Scampia, seems more relaxed and calm ... "Mario is 20 years old and is right for them alive. Believe me: it is much improved. I'll talk a lot and listens to me, is a friend of my children and often, a father, I understand. I want to add one thing: it's really strong and it showed last season. This year can do better. "

Yaya Toure, who has also solved the game, and David Silva? "They are two true champions. Much loved by the public of the City. "

Tevez, Tevez the much-discussed. Will? "Yes, of course he will, is a fantastic player. There was talk of an exchange with Eto'o, but so Eto'ol'Inter not sell "(inserting the Vice Salsano explaining that" even Dzeko will remain with us, now is set and you will see a great striker. ") .

As you stand in relation to the Champions League? "I do not want to be a guest appearance after having conquered the participation with merit, but we would be leaders. For this we stiamoattrezzando. Our goal is to take the best players, even if we do not act as many think pointing ten million more than the other clubs. The financial fair play is for everyone. "

Why Manchester United continue to dominate? "Why has an incredible inner strength that we still lack. Vince has always been a mentality and amazing. "

Who are the players that you most admire in the Premier, except, of course, her? "Giggs and Fabregas."

Mancini, is never the desire to return to work in Italy? "No, I am now in England and I still have two-year contract with the City where I am well and I have a good relationship with the owners. Mansur is close to us and follows us Khaldum President coming to Manchester. You see, in Italy the stadiums are empty and this makes me very sad. Fifteen years ago they were full. The political systems of the property must take off, otherwise the guys will continue to organize to come and see the Premier League twice a year. I admire Juve who was intelligent and has opened a major road. Even for this I am convinced that ascend to the great, but for the next season, Milan is still favored. "

And Inter? "Sometimes I feel with Moratti."

Hard to tell what he means in some parts when it's translated like that. He appears to be saying Cerci isn't for us but does he mean Cerci hasn't signed yet ? Does seem to be letting the cat out of the bag slightly re Nasri though.

It sacres me to death that he likes Hamsik.

I suspect this was the case.

"We only think he is a fullback because he was filling in at that position for Germany"(erroneous as it is) does not equal "We shouldn't write him off too soon".

"We've bought Kolarov as a fullback and no-one else as Zabs doesn't count"(erroneous as it is) does not equal "Kolarov may be playing at the limit of his abilities and he is unsuited to this league."

However....

"We only think he is a fullback because he was filling in at that position for Germany" is directly refuted by "We think he is a fullback because he played that position not only for Germany, but for City and Hamburg as well."

"We've bought Kolarov as a fullback and no-one else as Zabs doesn't count" is directly refuted by "Zabaleta was bought as a fullback as a direct replacement for another fullback."

However in no point in Doom's rampant literary abomination did he talk about the success or failure of the purchases, you agreed with him on a point he never made, a point he got wrong and one that at least you posted was "IMO", maybe it wasn't borne out in reality so far, but I don't think you are wrong and never said you were, you just accepted the wrong premise as a basis for it.

Maybe if you had replied to my post I made a few hours earlier you would have been more on the right track and in the right context with your points, you didn't and that's only really your fault, no need to get belligerent over your own mistake.

In other words..............minor differences, pedantry and not really worth having a pop at two people over. However, my disorder........

Again, all the best, mate. Hope you're ok.

Cheers

OMG, they are not minor differences, they are dichotomic points directly addressed in my reply. And if you think "susceptible Scottish poster" is me having a go, then you need to toughen the fuck up princess. Need a fucking tissue? Jesus, even our gentle little flower dazby would have a go at you for that.

I fear I am being reeled in here, cause seriously not even Andy Davies was this blatantly stupid, you are on the wind up aren't you? For the love of god be on a wind up.

To be honest I'm not sure why your attack on me is so personal in terms of my history as a city fan, but I'll ignore it because it's just some emotional element of this which has really nothing to do with me but says a lot about you.

In terms of the actual matter of my post:

1) you apparently are bothered that I wasn't as smart as you about realizing boateng wasn't a FB earlier or something. I haven't written him off as a CB. He doesn't seem to want to play for us.

2) my writing style of thinking out loud while I posted the thought seems to have given you literary license to misquote me or suggest things I didn't write or say. Regardless, you cannot honestly disagree with my suggestion that we actually haven't spent a lot or bought a lot of players for the LB slot. In fact only two of substance, one of which in Kolarov we both agree isn't the finished article. You must be on a wind up if you think counting sylvinho and berti in those numbers poses an argument otherwise.

3) regarding Zabs -- I can't recall that he was a direct replacement for Charlie, but I do remember Hughes liking the versatility of both Zabs and Vinnie. And I remember both playing more matches in midfield early on. My point about him was basically "how unfair does it seem that he might get squeezed out of more match time?" a simple question I'm sure others have as well. He's been a solid force at any position we ask him to play. Not sure why you couldn't actually comment on my thoughts or question but that would actually involve conversing with someone and not just having a half-baked rant at them.

I'd suggest if you have this much venom towards my posts just foe me or PM me about them. As for all the personal stuff you can just fuck off. I'm not sure why you think it's reasonable or fair to have a go at me about how long I've followed city but it certainly doesn't bother the posters I respect on here -- many of whom ive met personally and find to be entertaining, intelligent, funny people who are fantastic City fans.

Wenger wants Nasri stay

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen to keep hold of Samir Nasri as rumours continue over the France international's future.

The 24-year old midfielder netted 15 goals for the Gunners last season and has attracted interest from all over the world - as well as from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City.

French publication L'Equipe has claimed Nasri has rejected Arsenal's offer of a new contract as he looks to push through a move away from the Emirates.

But Wenger said of his compatriot: "We will do everything to keep Nasri at the club. My wish is that he stays here.

"If he looks back he can see that he's come quite a long way with us, and I think there is still a bit to do. It's the club that makes the player's career."

On the potential departures of Cesc Fabregas and Gael Clichy, Wenger added: "Obviously we want them to stay. They are part of Arsenal and big players for the club so we want them to stay, but we will see."

Real Madrid have reportedly joined arch rivals Barcelona in bidding for Fabregas' services, while it understood Clichy's purported switch to Manchester City is well on course.
