I wonder would chelsea give us drogba on loan for a season if we promised to stay out of the modric auction, or another deal they are interested in?

We are not going to buy players over 30, Mancini has stated he is building a team for years to come, Drogba is not the player we need. Criteria Young, tenacious, skillfull, strong, naturally talented, european experience, proven goal scorer at a high level, preferably 25 or under

answers?

Rossi
Hulk
Aguero
Higuin
Pato?

anymore anyone can think of?

Hulk is shite and most of the rest are simply no where near as good as Tevez. Aguero or Villa are the ones to go for.

Hulk has no brain & would totally fuck our team up & Pato is average. If Real want Tevez, Higuain may be a possibility but I'm not sure about his fitness long term.

I can't see anybody other than Aguero being a genuine replacement for Tevez.

Not a fan of Hulk - think he's very overrated and not the type of player we should be going for. The other 4 are all good alternatives though

He's not Tevez though. We need someone who gives us a similar buzz to Tevez. Also, as I posted before, don't lets forget that Bob wanted another striker as well as Tevez. That could be someone like Rossi.

Nobody is Tevez but who would you replace him with? As stated before I'd want Rossi OR Aguero and also buy Lukaku giving us four strikers

I'm sure there's someone else out there who hasn't become famous yet but the only genuine replacement for Tevez that I've actually seen is Aguero. If we don't get him then we just have to accept we've lost those qualities & move on to plan B imo.

tevez going will leave a huge hole for instant goals, we need an instant goal scorer with prem league experience and drogba fits the bill short term. even if we get aguero, he will need time to settle. look how long it took for yaya and silva to settle. mario and dzeko are still not fully ready but I think will be flying by xmas.

although I think our plan of signing young talented players will pay off, we need to cover ourselves for the first six months of the season with goals and take the pressure of the young players

Aguero, Benzema or Higuain.

Thats it, as far as replacements in terms of quality go. I still wouldnt bet against Tevez being here on Sept 2nd.

Tevez's Replacement?

That was Dzeko, i'm certain.

Likely we will sign a pacy young striker as backup to him and balo and push the funds into securing a classy winger who can give Dzeko the service he deserves.

For me it has to be Aguero but I willing to take a risk on someone like falcao (provided we can get him service in the box)

For fucks sake. Here we go again.

In my personal opinion we can't let Tevez go before summer 2012 now. Simply can't. We don't have time to find similar quality replacement this summer anymore. These transfers usually take time and should have been in process months ago.

Out of the players mentioned, only Aguero is someone who can play in similar level and do similar things for us.

Generally, we are royally screwed here. We can forget all the talk about title challenge right the moment Tevez leaves. Letting him go would practically be Manchester City suicide for Mancini as well.

Let's just hope this is another crap made up story.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
