I would consider it; at the moment I don't see anyone in the world of football more similar to Tevez than Rooney; maybe Aguero, but he's not Prem proven; what if he fails in England? When people suggest bidding for Tranny, it's easy to cede that he's legitimately world class and would improve any side without question. Shrek just isn't of that calibre and, with Chuckle gone, is probably the poster child for everything that's horrible about them.

I'd go with that. The idea of fucking Tranaldo jogging in City shirt gives me creeps BUT he IS among top two attacking players in the world and puts up absolute video game numbers of goals and assists for any team he plays for. There's nothing me or anyone else could argue against that. And don't get it the way that I'm suggesting we should sign him. If it was down to me we would simply refuse to do business with or for any current or former rag. But if we did sign him, there's very little anyone could say against it from football point of view.

Rooney on the other hand is hilariously overrated. Apart from season before last he has always failed to produce consistently. He is very good quality striker but only because he plays for rags and England is he hailed as some sort of super world star. Rooney simply isn't world class.
