Like the "Liverpool hijacking Savic deal" story, this just sounds like desperate SSN trying to stir shit.

Hi all.
Can any of the season ticket holders answer a question for me!
Have Man City been using Zonal Marking on corners for the whole of the last season?

Its all probably to make Arsenal think they can get a higher transfer fee for him.Even though the papers talk bullshit most of the time, pretty much all of them are reporting that we are nailed on for him.
Why would Sky want to make Arsenal think they can get a higher fee for Nasri???

I'm always careful not to get swept up in this will he/won't he speculation. If we don't sign Nasri, is there a contingency, or will we not sign anyone and find ourselves with a Nasri-shaped hole in the team? We desperately need creativity in attack, and while I'm glad to see two new defenders signed (only one of which is likely to walk into the team), I'm impatient to see a new attacking player come in. For the record, I'd love Nasri to come to City, but with so many 'ifs' and 'ands' I'm finding it hard to get excited.
If Nasri does sign - woo hoo! Till then...

Yeah guv, pretty sue there's a contingency plan. We have been linked with other midfielders.

Nasri was invited by Evra to join a winning club, I expect him to go there if Arse sell him.

We have a french team mate of his too, Mr Clichy.
We also aren't utterly hated by Wenger, Arsene does not want to do any business with the rags if he doesn't have to.
I still believe the ball is in our court.

I am getting a bad feeling that he is joining United.
With Modric going to Chelsea (if anywhere) I think we should go all out on Sneijder and throw Tevez in the mix.

I just can't see that happening.
Selling Nasri to United would be like retiring from the fight for the title.
Nasri would complete their team, no doubt. Imo Wenger would have to be insane to sell to them, still believe we are his best option.

We also have a goalkeeper who wants to go (Given) and Arsenal need a new goalkeeper. Surely this could also be used as part of a deal and to convince Wenger to sell Nasri to us, rather than the Scum.

It's not like it's a goalkeeper he doesn't want, Wenger has been a fan for some time now.
A lot of cards for city to play all in all.

Very good point. Given+Cash firmly puts the advantage into our court... now it all depends on whether or not Nasri would be interested in joining City...

I dont know, Given would be a great addition for them - I'd much prefer to allow Wenger loose on taking a gamble with a keeper from some obscure club in the European backwaters for 500K than send Given to them
