You do have to wonder though why it has yet to dawn on Ade or Bellamy why they keep getting their arses bounced out of clubs with seemingly indecent haste.

Or maybe not.

Bellamy doesn't. He keeps getting bought by others who want him, like we did. we could have sold him to half the Premier League last season.

He clearly isn't the right bloke for City but he's a lot further away from being that now than he was a year ago. We have made him worse rather than better, in every aspect. His situation has been managed very very badly, whatever his abilities or lack of them.

We have not got the best out of Adebayor & we have not got the best relationship with him for him to help us move him on. In short we have not done the best we could for our club with Adebayor, either football wise or financially. Very very poor indeed.

I would disagree. Mario all said and done delivered when it really mattered. FA Cup semi & final. Dzeko (for me) also scored 2 significant goals. Notts County equalizer and the winner against Blackburn. Ade at no point delivered when it really mattered for Real which is why they are not beating our door down in a desperate attempt to sign him.

I have no issue with employees be they players or otherwise being treated with respect but I also don't believe everything that Ade or Bellamy say on the subject of how 'badly' they are treated either.

That being the case and overlooking Newcastle, Liverpool and now City he should have no problem finding a club desperate for his services.

If Ade wants a reason for being left at home he needs to read his various bleatings to the press over the past few weeks/months - I was one of Ade's biggest supporters until he started conducting his business via the media.

Just on the simple point Ade has gone to the press on, he is right in my book (if it's true of course). If we (Mancini) doesnt want him in and around the team he should tell him to his face.

If he thinks he can return to the club like nothing happened after all the recent direct quotes in the media then he is either naive to the point of 'special' or terminally stupid.

Yes. It must have come as total shock to him. No way could he have seen that coming. Poor lamb. Again assuming it is true of course.

Next time bring him in. Tell him he is no longer wanted by the club and then read in the papers about how they dragged him in just to tell him he is no longer wanted and how disrespectful City were for doing it that way when a phone call would have been enough.

You are talking about guy who has been spouting off IN MEDIA about forcing a move to Real since spring. But yeah, it's Mancini who needs to talk to him.

Get a grip. You've made these remarks about Mancini since he took over but results have proven that his approach is the right one.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Because the team has played well doesn't mean his treatment of certain players is either right or beneficial.

For instance, if our relationship with Adebayor was better, we may be able to use him as a significant deal clincher in a swap now. Same as last season, if the relationship with Bellamy had been more cordial, he may have gone in a swap deal rather than turning everything down.

There was no need for so much bad feeling in any of this. It's unprofessional & it's bad management. Doing a good job on the pitch does not automatically mean everything has been done perfectly off it & it's somehow wrong for people to criticise when they think there are are bad faults. I think both of these situations have been handled dreadfully & frankly I could have done it better myself.

I am sure people did want him last season. Hughes & Redknapp to name but two potential suitors. Just as there will be suitors this season if the price is right. Which is what this is all about. All this bollocks from Bellamy is about trying to get his valuation reduced and/or his wages subsidised. You think its a plea from a righteous man wronged. I think Bellamy is a self serving cunt and a liar. Hence we don't agree.

Almost two years ago this was on an Arsenal Fans forum about Ade

Why the dislike?

Maybe it has something to do with him being a lazy, over paid, over rated, arrogant c**t who thinks he is far better than he is?

What has he actually achieved? One decent season is all I can think of?

Did no one see his performance at Old Trafford? In the semi final off the Euorpean Cup he gave one of the most half hearted, uninterested performances I have ever seen of an Arsenal player. It was nothing sort of a disgrace.

I cant stand the guy and would happily drive him to Milan myself.

I can think of plenty of half hearted performances in a City shirt last season - and if I was the management I would think yeah if he can't be arsed I can't be arsed to tell him he is not coming to America. Treat others with respect and you will get treated with respect is surely the message here.

So if you knew that, why are you wasting my fucking time with the sarcastic post above which suggests it's not true?

As I've raised on the other thread, if Bellamy is lying then fair enough, but the way you operate when discussing it is piss poor.

Players no longer speak, they have agents to do this, for me a player shows it on the pitch, like the squad who performed so well at the end.

SWP I love the rest I am like they are towards the gifted world they in for 10/12 yrs non-plussed and could not give a toss for you me the club and in most cases anyone but the agent and the dough.

You are forgetting that we found him great opportunity to put himself in shopwindow in Real Madrid. Doesn't get much better than that does it? He wasn't good enough to get Real interested enough to fork out the money for him. Then we found a Club in Russian league who WERE willing to pay the fee and his wages and offer Champion's League football (possibly) but that wasn't good enough for him and he said he wouldn't sign for anyone but Real.

This guy is treating us like shit and you are siding with him.

I agree with you NQDP

It's time that contracted players were legally obliged to say nothing detrimental about their employers.
I'm struggling to think of another profession where people would get away with it. Footballers only do so because they know that they are commodities as well as being employees.

Even though I agree with a lot of what NQDP and Kladze are saying re Adebayor, I still think this whole 'left behind' business is pathetic from the management.

If a player's not wanted, tell him in private, publically transfer list them and otherwise work silently to shift them out.

I know the Ade and Bellamy situations are contentious, but for the likes of RSC, Johnson, Bridge and Onuoha who've ostensibly done nothing wrong (aside from being injured/having had the club move past them), it's really poor from the club. They deserve the PR bashing that'll inevitably follow in my opinion - wholly unprofessional.

And yeah, I know Nedum had his Soccer AM rant, but the point still stands - for everything good Mancini's done for the club, crap like this has us hamstrung.

I can see where you're coming from mate but these players are on more than handsome salaries, would they really want to travel out to the USA with all that entails, only to not even make the substitutes bench?
I suspect they'd be bleating even more loudly if that happened.
