As rude and unappreciative as this is, it's no less true.

Be as it may, there was no need for that.

TBF, he is doing as many players would say to endear himself to the waiting fans, is he going to really say I couldn't cut it at what is going be the the biggest club in the world? My mind would be changed if he started spouting bile about us in the weeks to come, rather than him just getting on back in Germany?

Fuckin Snoopy looking soft twat!

He'd agreed terms with bayern about a month ago

Before City gave them permission to?

Yep, he'd agreed terms on a 4 year deal and was waiting for a fee to be agreed

Then why would they take him out to America mate? Surely he would be befriending Ade and Bellers?

That is an insane amount of money for a player with glacial speed and the turning circle of the Queen fucking Mary. This is a real coup; we have robbed Bayern Muncich. Lol. Hope we draw them this year, Silva and AJ would crucify this lumpen tosspot.

Maybe mancini fancied keeping him if they didn't meet our valuation. He definitely came out saying he'd agreed terms before the fee was agreed

Could have given him another season to try and adapt to the league. But why bother.
Good riddance. His play was crap last year.

This is pretty much what I wanted to say. I'm just trying to move my image around here towards more friendly.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

can't see I'm sad to see him go, as he never really got started for us. I did have a feeling that he could have adapted and been a good, athletic defender. We'll never know how it would have turned out for us now, but I'm glad we got more money than we paid ... and fuck bayern.

A good thing is that I think it's now quite clear no-one is taking us for a ride, buying or selling. Even if it did make Rummenige apoplectic with rage that we didn't roll over and say:

"You want hin for €5M sir? Yes sir, of course sir, you are Bayern Munich. Anyone else thrown in?"

Boateng is a funny one. Never took to him myself so not arsed that hes leaving. A poor gamble by Mancini.

Hahaha I reposted because I fucked up the first one. I didn't clock that you'd already sussed it and replied.

As for Boateng's comment, as rude and unappreciative as it was, it was no less true.

Lee hughes the fat pub player from notts county bullied him in the fa cup, that coupled with a centre half letting a ball bounce before attacking it for a defensive header(cardinal sin) in the same game was the final straw for me, we will not miss him but glad we made a profit.....

Never rated him, but in fairness I never saw that one good cross in the friendly that seemed to buy him an entire season with some.

It really was, knocked it round the player then pinged in such a cross. I'd high hopes after that
